agreed.  i've seen the message, either someone posted it here, or i saw it on the wiki....but i remember seeing it, and i was sad

Seriously! I have learned not to look. I only kill dragons that I have picked up specifically as zombie fodder. I never name them and hide them at the end of my scroll as soon as they grow up. So I guess I never really attach to them and it is easier to see them as just pixels.

Agree, @Lagie, this day has seemed very long. It is cold and gloomy and rainy. Should have been a perfect day to sleep in, but I was wide awake way to early.

Very long... and now dark, too. Wretched time change.

I woke up in the wee hours my time and could not get back to sleep. Tonight'll be better for all of us who are sensitive, I hope.

It went okay.... But I'm not having a good day.

I had a slight anxiety attack earlier. I'm feeling so nauseous and light headed. I don't know whats going on

Aw Spirit 😧

*gently pets better*

You're shoulder so badly will make you feel bad in general. You haven't had much sleep either so that won't help.

The heat isn't helping either.

And I need to wash Muggie but I can't. Everything is feeling to much and I just want to cry

I know. It all sucks and feels overwhelming. It doesn't help that when you are unable to do things you suddenly realise just how much stuff there is to do. Unfortunately the only thing to do is to play the waiting game and see what the specialist says.

I hope the specialist can work it out. Being in pain is no fun.

Good morning, CPA! B)

I'm ready for the day to be done and it hasn't even really started.

I hope your shoulder gets better Spirit.  I'm sure the other feelings you are having is from your shoulder.

I agree Trystan.  Stick with one time.

my boss and i are actually in agreement...keep it all in standard time! there are states - HI, AZ, most of IN - that don't DO DST.  but i've seen articles recently to make it permanent DST.  how does that sit with those states are are Standard Time year 'round? that's.... awkward.

I guess they'd just stick with what they already have and you change times as you change states? ... hmm.

I've done my bill paying. The electricity company lets you in, five at a time, socially distanced. The phone company sends a rep out to you who writes everything down, leaves with that and your money and returns with a receipt. Both methods seem equally efficient but I felt sorry for the poor phone company girls having to go back and forth all day. Half the stores in the mall are closed, half have a table at the door for 'curbside', and the Christmas tree in the atrium and other decorations are already up. We don't do Thanksgiving but it still feels way too early for Christmas.

'hmmm' is right!

interesting with your bill paying Lagie. we pay some online, but some places we still send checks to!

and YES, it IS too early for Xmas.  my retail job doesn't care - it's full-on Xmas, with any Fall, Halloween, or Thanksgiving items relegated to one or two small places....or even back in clearance already

Both the phone and electricity companies want you to pay online, no longer even mail out a bill, in fact, but both systems are riddled with issues, and I don't trust them with my credit card info. So I don't mind standing in the mall a/c for fifteen or so minutes once a month.

We usually, I have to confess, dump what's left of Halloween in the dumpster as we have so little storage space, but we have so much left this year, we're going to make an exception to the rule and keep in storage whatever will fit in three boxes. Anything else will go.

We get so little Thanksgiving stuff, it usually sells immediately. And we are inundated with Christmas things!

fair enough - for both.  don't blame you for not trusting a system with issues.

and it makes sense if you have no storage space.  i get that!

The wind has suddenly picked up. I don't think we're in a storm system...
