Hi there Purple!

 

It's end of the month / end of the year newspapers so we are very busy.

The one newspaper I work on most of the time is a 56 page

Ah! I should have guessed the end-of-month thing, except it isn''t. Or at least it doesn't seem like it.

Our newspapers appear on a Thursday in the streets. Next week Thursday would be the 1 December... Thus this week is end of the month newspaper for us.

I'm fairly done.

But apparently I'm suppose to help organize a baby shower next week. First time I hear of this *sighs*

My month end hasn't even started yet and I'm already getting more work than usual. Where did all these ships come from? O.o

My friend is also getting a lot stuff to ship but that's wine... Not the same stuff that you ship

 

It's still a surprise... One of the girls here was suppose to take lead but isn't getting everything done. So now I'm pulled into the situation.

If anyone is drinking the stuff on our ships, they'll need to go to hospital. Either that are they are aliens.

Fuels, LPGs and chemicals mostly. The ship I just finished was carrying caustic soda.

 

We don't get parties here. Just maybe a quick meal.

Hmmm, yeah, nothing one would want to drink!

 

I always hated company parties anyway. They somehow think they can make up for a whole year of mistreating you.

I wouldn't go anyway. I'm too anti-social

Sadly we are forced to attend

 

Our parties are okay-ish. We usually have a theme. This year it's Hawaiian And the place is located in the middle of nowhere where the heat can get up to 40 degrees.

Last time someone won a tablet.

Is the party during work hours? Otherwise how can they force you to attend? What happens if you don't? Do you get thrown in jail? Or do they just drag you there in chains?

It's the whole day. The drive to the place is about two hours.

 

We don't get pay for that day. So yeah not winning either way.

Unless you have a valid reason not to be there then you don't have to go.
