| What is exactly is this project about? |

The Happily Ever After Lineage is a project created by me (MinkishMinx) as homage to the romantic in me. I've always loved fairytales, and I'm just a sucker for love stories. I'm sure that there are many kindred spirits out there who love basking in the inked creations of a story as old as time - the story of true love. To be a part of this project, all that you need to do is play cupid for the dragons in your collection. Create the hero and heroine of your story and let their story unfold in a world limited only by your imagination. Carry on their bloodline, and let their legacy continue on in the stories of their children.

Are your heroes part of the royal court? Did they begin as star-crossed lovers or was it always meant to be? You are the author, and the choice is all up to you!

| Semi Pure Bred Lineage |

This is a semi pure bred lineage that consists of Nebula Dragons, Carina Dragons and Ridgewing Dragons. The primary species is Nebula, but feel free to add a little variety in race by letting the odd foreigner (Ridgewing) enter the bloodline. You might just be surprised with a little magic in each generation (Carina). Or keep the bloodline pure, it's all up to you!

You can choose to follow any lineage pattern of your choice as long as you adhere to the other rules (more about that in the rest of this post). That means you can opt for:

- Stairstep
- Spiral
- Even Gen
- Checkerboard
- Come up with your own pattern
- Or embrace the chaos and follow no pattern at all

All dragons in this lineage must originate from either of the original pairs.

For even gen pairings, you may find a mate from another Original Couple pairing OR you can get a mate from another set of parents. Example. As long as one of the original pairs is at the start of the lineage, that's fine. [UPDATED : 28 Nov 2017]

After you have established a second generation and created your own bloodline, you may decide whether you'd like to keep your bloodline private or become a legacy breeder and allow other people to request for eggs from your breeding pair(s).

| Naming Conventions |

All couples must have a fantasy related title so as to ingrain them in the fairy tale world.

Suggested Naming Conventions :

Prince and Princess
King and Queen
Emperor and Empress
Sir and Lady
Duke and Duchess
Baron and Baroness
Khal and Khaleesi
Hero and Heroine
______ of ______ (Eg; Laurel of Lothlórien and Kendrick of Rivendell)
______ the ______ (Eg: Edmure the Bold and Celestine the Fairy Whisperer)

** Feel free to suggest other titles, but they should fit in a fantasy setting. If in doubt, feel free to shoot me a PM.

Mixed Marriages are allowed and encouraged. For eg: Prince Amroth of Lothlórien (Royalty) and Marilyn of Bree (Commoner)

Titles may change within the family tree. For eg, a King and Queen could easily beget offspring that choose to abdicate the throne and live as the common folk. For example if Prince Amroth gives up his right to be crown prince, his and Marilyn's children will not have the Prince and Princess titles.

You are encouraged to write and share stories of the couples in your family tree. A short profile may be shared on this thread, but anything more lengthy should be written in a google document. The link to the document can be shared in this thread.

| Create a Fantasy World for Your Bloodline |

This is where you get to be as creative as you'd like! Choose a setting for your lovers and their progeny. It can be an existing land from a fantasy novel / movie or you can create one just for them. This is completely optional, but it can be really fun and will really give your dragons an identity.

If you can't think of a world at the time of requesting an egg, that's fine as well! Just let me know whenever you've come up with something and I'll update your profile accordingly.

I wanted this to be a more free and easy lineage which leaves more room for personal expression and creativity, so I decided to keep the rules fairly simple. Please read the rules carefully! Failure to follow them will result in you being removed from the lineage and blacklisted.

1. No killing, abandoning, or trading Happily Ever After eggs. You may freeze them as long as they're not a direct offspring from one of the original couples.

2. Follow the naming conventions and species limitation (only Nebula, Carina and Ridgewing Dragons are allowed).

3. Happily Ever After dragons are exclusive for life. Do not mate them with any other dragons. UPDATE: Multiple mates may be acceptable in the form of an exclusive, polyamorous kind of relationship, as long as it's story driven.

4. Happily Ever After eggs should only be gifted to people who are approved and on the waiting list.

5. You need to have successfully raised 3 Adult dragons on your current scroll to be a part of this project.

6. The colors of Nebula offspring are not guaranteed. You need to be prepared to accept whichever color your hatchling grows into.

7. Each person can be added to 3 waiting lists at any time.

For people on the wait list : A breeder will contact you when it's your turn. Once you've confirmed that you're ready, you have 48 hours to accept the egg before it goes to someone else on the list. Unless offered, breeders are not obliged to hatch the egg for you, so be prepared to accept an egg. Please be considerate and do not keep your breeder waiting for too long! (:

For breeders : Please contact the next person on the list before you breed the egg and send it to them. This is to ensure that you won't be stuck with the egg if they fail to accept it for whatever reason.
