Posted June 2, 2010 Category: Lineage Tittle of Record:Most Holiday Dragons in Lineage. 17 Yulebucks! 18 Generations! Name of Submitant:Fiona BlueFire Proof for Record: Imperial Amethyst Mist ... to see the rest of the lineage: Imerial Toa Reason for submitting new Record: because it wasn't recorded yet? It was 19 generations, but werejace's Imperial dragon wasn't cooperative, so we needed a new egg. Soon then, we'll be back to 19 generations. I hope I've done this right. Frankly, dears, I am finding your posting method a bit confusing. It's probably just me... Share this post Link to post
Posted June 2, 2010 @Fiona: We are always looking for suggestions, If you dont understand the color coding please tell us, I find it easy to know what goes where. That way the text catches my eye, and I dont have to go looking around all the posts. I know that a red post means a new record, a orange one a update of data and a blue one a beat over a current record. Please tell s what you dont understand and we will try and see how to make it easier. Share this post Link to post
Posted June 2, 2010 Maybe I just need to read more carefully, but I swear I tried to figure out where Imperial Amethyst Mist fit in your current records, and I have no idea. Perhaps your records need more careful categorization? As I said, the fault could lie with me, but if you look your records over, do you see a better way I could have listed Amethyst? The Holiday Lineage (Imperial line) is a lineage that breeds a cb yule (Christmas 08) to the lineage egg, and passes it along to the next person on the list. So, our current generation is number 18, which means she has 17 Yules in her lineage. I thought there already was a listing of that nature, but for the life of me I don't see it there. Posted June 2, 2010 (edited) I'ld suggest to mention only the breeds, of which you have 25 or more, to keep the updating not too much work I have only 2 of them: Fog dragons 25 Ochre drakes 25 Category: Breeders Title of Record: Most Fog (Gray) Dragons (Currently 25) Name of Submittant: Zeldarax Proof for Record: http://dragcave.net/user/Zeldarax Reason for submitting new Record: It doesn't seem to be one you have yet. Posted June 2, 2010 I do think a minimum as to what constitutes a record would be a good idea. That would prevent people from claiming a record for four or five dragons, simply because the record hasn't been claimed. It might also be good to set a minimum limit to the amount of time, or the amount of change necessary before one is allowed to update an existing record, just to cut down on the amount of work and maintenance this threat will take. Posted June 2, 2010 (edited) @Fiona: The listings were carried over from the last thread and are the exact image of what there was before. With that We have not yet changed anything but will be in the process of changing things. If you do see something that needs a review, attention or just a better descripition, you can always drop us a pm or post it here, we are more than glady to review and fix things if necessary. @undertow and Zeldrax: Yes the consideration of a new record of "Most x dragons" Could be 20+ perharps that way as you say we prevent people from claiming records. And less manteinance. But for the other records are they just open? As I was reading before, what actually is to be considered a record? Its like the guiness book, You just imagine the wacky and there you go! a brand new record. But we can always talk about what does a new record need to be considered a record, and not to be considered the extreme of nonsense. @Mathcat: Thank you for noticing this it will be fixed as soon as possible. @Kesson: Under breeders **UPDATED** @Zeldarax: Congratulations you have been added. @Little Black Dog: Category is Breeders but you have still been added. @Pinch of star dust: The record already existed in scroll trivia, but with the suggestion of a new category We shall consider the new category. Maybe you would like to enlighten us as a main category of subcategory under scroll records? @Mathcat,Lolalynx,Kesson: Congratulations you are now on our lists Edited June 2, 2010 by Dc Records Share this post Link to post
