Your travels have brought you far and wide, until you arrived at the fabled lands where the Xenowyrms rule... Once upon a time in a world of magic and a time of dragons, three kingdoms lived in harmony with one another. The first and oldest of the realms was known as Quelless'ar, whose strength was built upon knowledge wrought from years of learning, passed down in tomes through many generations. The second was the most spiritual of the kingdoms, known as Breothia, who prided themselves on their physical prowess and holy rituals. The last was the most politically savvy, known as Occitanie, who sought to heal calamities across the realms and unite the lands as one. As the King of Occitanie's influence and reputation grew, so did his relations with the other kingdoms, and thus a union was formed between Occitanie and Breothia through royal marriage. Many years of peace and prosperity were promised. However, everything changed when Cassia, called the Bright Queen of Occitanie, fell victim to a dark plague ravaging the lands. The King of Occitanie, Florian Beaumont, was overcome with grief and withdraw from his duties to his kingdom. He remarried at the behest of his advisors in order to provide an heir to his family's legacy, but he was unable to emotionally connect with his new queen, the lovely Queen Marie of the Kingdom of Quelless'ar. Meanwhile in the Holy Kingdom of Breothia, the xenos mourned the loss of one of their sisters. They believed the dark plague to be a punishment sent from the goddess in consequence of the Occitanian King's failure to adequately pay homage. They wanted the Occitanian King to confess to his sins that brought pestilence to the lands and redeem himself properly. However, when all they saw was the King's remarriage to another, they deemed him as selfish and heartless, traits for which he had to pay - and thus a war raged between Breothia and Occitanie. Quelless'ar, though, refused to participate in the war in any capacity despite their political ties to the Occitanie Kingdom. They believed the war was an unnecessary loss of life when diplomacy could have been used to reestablish an understanding between the two kingdoms. In their eyes, Breothia was too passionate, overzealous and impulsive, using the death of the Bright Queen as an excuse for the militant kingdom to wage a war. However, they were also bitter towards Occitanie, whose King continued to disregard their beloved daughter whom they believed should have more influence in the ruling of the kingdom. Thus, they decided to remain apart in the best interest of their own people, and closed their walls off to the outside world. Several decades passed until one day the King and Queen of Occitanie mysteriously disappeared. Their absence left the already struggling Kingdom weakened and vulnerable to Breothia's attacks, forcing them to find leadership elsewhere to prevent total chaos. A new monarchy was born, the Magiae, who then reached out to Breothia in hopes of ending the war and salvaging what was left of their once affluent kingdom. The young Queen of Breothia acquiesced to a ceasefire with the addition that Occitanie pay reparations for the war. And so there was peace once more between the three kingdoms... how long this peace will last, only time will tell. They are the voice of reason and kindness within the kingdom as a breed unrelated to the king and queen, their objective views hold great importance within the kingdom. They are also a reminder of values Quelless'ar considers important which is that kindness does not equate weakness. Aquillo are adventurous and like testing their boundaries and limitations. Their inherent playful nature means they tend not to take themselves too seriously and this allows them to experiment with new concepts and theories without being overly serious or too stringent and stagnant in thought. Their open-mindedness has led to many a new discoveries....as well as some...unfortunate magical mishaps. Pyros, holding the prestigious role of Penhebogydd, are part of the Scholar's Association as only the most adept in fire magic join their ranks. While their heavy weight leaves them to be more...grounded than other xenos, this does not stop them from finding other ways to take flight. Their title as Chief Falconer originates from their ability to use strong offensive fire magic to summon phoenixes and only those with great power and skill have the ability to call forth the flames of the phoenix. How these flames are used, however, is greatly dependent on the pyro. Along with her sisters in arms, she possesses profound spiritual abilities that connect her to her subjects, the world around her, and to the goddess herself. These abilities allow the female population of Breothia to perform extraordinary feats, enhancing their physical and mental prowess. In contrast, most males do not possess spiritual ability and therefore typically instead study the arcane arts as a natural balance to the combat fighting routines all Breothians participate in. Queen Thelesna von Finkenstein, alongside her husband King Eurobos Our faithfull subjects, it is now that we need to strengthen ourselfs, rebuild what had been destroyed and worship the goddess above, for she brings us glory and victory. Argumentative or rude behavior will not be tolerated 3. To join, we need proof that you know how to successfully care for a dragon to adulthood. Thus, you must have raised at least 10 dragons. Project Rules 1. No abandoning, killing, biting, zombie foddering, or inbreeding project dragons. 2. All dragons must be named according to the ranks of their kingdom. 3. All project dragons 2G+ will have caveborn xenowyrm mates. 4. Only grown project dragons can be counted for offspring influence. 5. Only pairings that have produced a child can be claimed as a couple for points 6. Each royal offspring is only allowed to claim one dragon as their mate for marriage and cannot be changed after fruitful betrothal announcement has been made. 7. Requested eggs should be claimed within 24 hours of breeding. If not claimed within the 24 hour window, the offspring will be offered to the next requestee and you will be removed from the request list. You may request to be put on the list again if you so wish. 8. Players may request eggs from any kingdom but are only allowed to be on one king and queen pairing waiting list at a time per kingdom. Naming Conventions & Rank Importance Each kingdom has a list of ranks for each xeno-breed. After joining a kingdom your project dragons and CB mates have to follow the naming scheme according to their colors. Since ranks change between Kingdoms, it is not possible to receive matching rank bonuses on offspring adopted from other kingdoms. Players should follow their respective kingdom's ranking system regardless of which kingdom they receive their eggs from. For simplicity, the King/Queen and Prince/Princess are considered to share the same rank as others of their species when determining rank matching within the same kingdom. At the moment each kingdom's ranking/title system can be considered to be listed in order from highest to lowest regardless of sections (view it as one single list from greatest to lowest). The other titles are not in that ranking for now, because it will be different for each kingdom! @Skadi our allknowing Queen decided she didn't want to share an offspring today. Don't worry about the blue, it's just so we can differentiate kingdoms at a glance ^^ In regards to rank and titles they are just normal noble titles like (Duke, Viscount, Baron etc.) but translated into the language of each kingdom and with slight variations. As mow said, each kingdom may have their own specifications but for all of them the peerage is ordered highest to lowest (which are the noble titles). Don't worry, we know the title and ranking system can be confusing and daunting with the amount of information there and we're happy to clarify on anything. Also I have PMed you an egg ^^ Welcome to @Serotina as well! We are glad to have you here! @ravensunset Welcome! My King/Queen pairing will be on cooldown until next week but I do have a 3G from their son, Prince Lunaire, if you are interested.
