Posted May 12, 2020 When a Slime eats something they produce a Plort. Plorts can either be sold for money or used in creating items. If a base Slime eats the Plort of another Slime (say a Pink Slime eats a Honey Plort), they'll turn into a hybrid called a Largo (Pink Honey Largo). Largos produce Plorts of both base Slimes when they eat. If you feed them their favourite food, you'll get double (so each Largo can produce up to 4 Plorts each at a time). However Largos are only safe around Plorts of their own kind. If they eat a 3rd kind (Pink Honey Largo eats a Rock Plort) they'll transform into a monster called a Tarr, attack and kill other Slimes and you the player. It's always best to keep Largos away from others. Even if you manage to keep them contained in one area, they'll sometimes commit suicide by falling into the ocean (AI pathing is kinda whack ) or eat things you don't want them to (like my prize Painted Hens). They can be very bouncy, so I'm a tad nervous about letting my lot out of their corrals. Share this post Link to post
