Posted January 1, 2022 (edited) Expecting a sharp drop in temperature. Were predicting thunderstorms today, now they lowered the rain chance. But wind advisory and our first freeze by Monday morning. I have the fan on high right now and wearing shorts. I've started off the New Year with insomnia. This was not the plan. No rain after all? Forecast: High 81 F. Actual temp 83 F. Posted January 1, 2022 (edited) ooh we get the temp drop sunday into monday. cold times! yaay! also i posted an update over on the coronavirus discussion thread, but: i called out today. D, the manager/keyholder that was out yesterday? was the one that answered the phone! turns out she won't know her test result until tomorrow uhm..... she told me the new protocol was since i'm vaxxed, wear a mask, and if i show symptoms, get tested. wtf? i told her i'll call tomorrow if things are different. i'm expecting them to be exactly the same - nothing, no symptoms - but i gotta go to work monday, i have time-sensitive information to get on monday. (it's inaccurate if i get the info after monday). so now i need to figure out how to word my call-out for tomorrow. lovely new year's day. it's also raining. one of my vamps can bite in a few hours, and i hope the egg turns and stays.... after that i only need one more for my House of Night vampires. Posted January 1, 2022 (edited) I am planning a Vampire bite today, too, but I am actually hoping for once that it will kill the egg. Which means it won't!
