Posted December 30, 2019 I changed my tree in many ways, beacuse I didn't have much time to play decorate game properly in 2010 and I only had 3-4 ormaments on my tree - but I left them on and add some more https://dragcave.net/tree/Biruko I also tried to make my tree as much alike to christmas tree made in my home - we loved to put many different and colorful ormaments - some were really old and are realted to many memories from past christmas. And even if they're a colorful mix, they still look good together for me, they give the tree unique look and some kind of warm feeling that reminds me of my family. Maybe it's nothing special to look, but for me it gave many goods feelings And I have a question, how do you rotate ormaments when decorating? I see in the first posts the same dragon figure put twice but each one looking in other way, so one had to be rotated. How can we do that? I tried but I can't think what should I do to rotate it. Posted December 30, 2019 (edited) I went for a snow and ice theme, DCs silver decorations are just too pretty. I also decorated the present area to give it more personality. This one is simple silver, nothing to flashy, I found that a lot of the wrethe decor looked like stickers so I stuck to a more classic design. Posted December 30, 2019 I did complete revamp on tree and the wreath (not entirely sure of the gingerbread house yet). The old tree unfortunately was lost due to my tiredness, so I didn't get screencap from it. Since we're now showing off wreath and houses - here are mine: Wreath: I just corrected some minor flaws. The eyes still aren't exactly alike, but I don't feel capable of improving them any more. https://dragcave.net/wreath/olympe Gingerbread: Still my old design, I'm debating on what to do with it. I didn't even think we can make something like this with items. I love your wreath (reindeer is amazing!), and your gingerbread roof and gate are masterpieces! But I fit as much in as I humanly could. It looks like my real trees tend to - bright and cheerful chaos. I really wanted bubble lights, but alas. Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) Everyone's trees are so beautiful! I wish I'd thought of making a unicorn! I almost used a snowflake theme on my tree, but I ended up not. I am sooo happy with this year's event - I missed the original tree decorating and always regretted it, so here is my first ever TREEEEEEE And here is my WREATH! I'm super proud of the blinky stars! Originally I did a thing where I tried to use every decoration at least once. It was cool, but very busy. I like this one a lot more 😃 Especially the blinking pattern Here is my GINGERBREAD HOUSE! It originally had a red-brown-snow theme, with decorated cookie trees in the yard and poinsettia vines on the house. I couldn't get the trees to layer right this time, so I replaced them with poinsettias and changed the color theme. My little story behind this design is that the house belongs to a Holly dragon, and all the hatchlings are coming over for a holiday celebration. And here is my SNOW FORT! Originally I had a large castle with a log cabin and gingerbread house, each with their own separate yard. This time I made it a little more complicated, there's a park where Snowas are building snow creatures, a forest where the white reindeer are hiding, and the Script and Aegis dragons have each built their own fort and are preparing for battle. Posted January 7, 2020 Here's my tree. Not terribly fancy, but I like it. It would've been mostly silver, but this dragon topper and the silver version of tinsel don't match, plus the silver tinsel makes the tree look sad for some reason...
