I'm already in love with Erador x Peach Floret and Erador x Aqua Gemshard, and I really want to try both yellow Gemshards and yellow Sapphires with Eradors, to see which I like better. (Not a Valentine, but I found this Arcana x yellow Gemshard in the AP, and I really like that combo!) Purple Gemshard x Amarignis, Sakuhana, & Soulstone all seem like they would look really nice, too, so I'll be trying those next Thursday. Share this post Link to post
Posted June 19, 2021 (edited) Interesting! I bred a couple of 2Gs with Heartseekers (can’t post here because they are not on my scroll). I like the pairing with Sweetlings, and the Arsani looks nice, too. The pink coloring of some of the Valentine breeds looks good with the Pink Sapphires. ETA: Rosebuds would look good too, I think. Also Sweetling x Winter (I'm obsessed with Winter lineages lately) and I have one more Sweetling which I will probably do with Waterhorse, another classic pairing. Last, I bred both my Rosebuds with Winters and my Heartseekers with Albino -- that last pairing is another classic which I like because it looks like a creamy chocolate. sorenna, that Erador x Aqua Gemshard pairing is really grabbing my attention. Completely stuck with Sakuhanas; no ideas yet. Working on Arsani pairings at the moment. In the past I have paired them with Storm. Am considering Aqua Gemshards or other curly breeds. I may breed one or both of mine to aqua Gemshard, too, even though I already have one coming to me as a trade. 😃 I think Eradors look really good with Sinii, Specklethroat, and Sapo, too. Not to mention gold Lunars. For Amarignis, I decided on Diamondwing, Umbra, EluxLucis, purple Pyropellis (he will be purple!), and Mundus Cantor, but after browsing the AP a bit I think they're also surprisingly nice with Storm and Black! Sakuhanas are tricky! So far I've got Saku lines with tan Ridgewing, Freckled, Truffle, Umbra, & Pharos. I also like them with Springs, green Coppers, and Tercorns. Posted February 16, 2022 I didn't do any gemshards as i don't have any of the new ones yet. I would like to now that they are more predictable with breeding. Most of my CBs were used to make 2nd gens to hopefully make mates for some of the 3rd gens i had. rosebud x nhiostrife rosebud x lacula arsani x sandwaste arsani x frostbite heartstealer x moonstone mutamore x script soulstone x sinii krai soulstone x blue-banded flower-crowned x scimitar amarignis x elux lucis and i picked up a lot of nice ones in the AP. I ran out of time and didn't get to breed the majority of my valentine dragons so if you need mates, feel free to look at my spreadsheets or the valentine list on my scroll (i have been trying to put mates next each other here) Share this post Link to post

Posted January 22, 2023 (edited) You know, given how much I love aqua Gemshard x Erador, I'm now thinking that Waterhorses and maybe Skywings would also look great with them. "Vivid aqua" is apparently a winner as far as Erador pairings go. I've been a bit stumped with the new Vermeils, but finally in a flash of inspiration I tried them with Tercorns and I think it's a success! The Tercorns have the right kind of 'frilly' design to their sprites to go well with the Vermeils, which was something I was struggling with while trying to find a pairing. Some other promising Vermeil experiments a friend and I cooked up: Canopy, purple Floret, Equinox I plan to try them with Wisterias next. Posted February 8, 2023 (edited) Just realized my baby Terrae cutie from the AP was gendered wrong for a stairstep checker lineage with Rosebuds, but I'll probably breed her with my Sweetling (it'll still look aesthetic~) I have a CB Heartseeker so I'll probably breed him with another Valentine dragon, although I'll have to hurry since it'll be Valentine's day when he grows up, this be my first rodeo.
