I also noticed that abandoned eggs still appear on my scroll, so the site probably needs to be updated

Actually, the site has never removed eggs from your account just because they're no longer in your account (more or less for the same reason that you can input any code you like by hand). ^_^ But! Any person who picks them up can yoink them over to theirs (the "import" functionality overrides any manual inputs other people have done), which may be what you saw happening in the past.

I just encountered an unusual number of adults on the site (at least 10 - 12 of them). Was it just a matter of timing, or is there a problem?

Just checked! There are no errors in the log, and it's reporting removing adult codes fine.  Looking at the run from about five hours ago, there was an above-average number of adults getting removed, which I guess means this was just a coincidence of timing when you looked (the script runs every half hour and has been running successfully at that cadence). Here's a snippet:

Timestamps are in UTC, so the 2023-11-28 15:13:02 is the one most relevant to your observation! :) There's generally a lot of variance in the number of codes that get removed per half hour, though.

Big thanks for reporting this, though, always better safe than sorry. 👍

Please remove eggs/hatches from the "start clicking" section if it's marked. 2/5 of the dragons I clicked on shows " Thank you for helping keep the listings updated! This dragon has been marked and will be reviewed/removed after a short amount of time." Clicking on them doesn't add to the count and is a waste of time to all of us.

Apologies for the confusion, but "Thank you for helping keep the listing updated!" doesn't tell you whether the creature was marked, that message is just what appears if you click on the "Mark as adult or dead" link. You'll want to click on either the image or the "View page" link instead.

If you're hitting the "Mark as adult or dead" link without expecting to (e.g. when using a touch screen), I suggest using the image for clicking, it's an easier target for click events.

Hope that helps!

May I have my scroll name changed? it should be "lostletters", thank you!

Assuming your DDF username is "lostletters", you should be good to go now.

I forgot my DDF password.

My username on there is also christinewho.

Wanted to change it but can't since I don't remember it having forgotten to write it somewhere.

Hi! I accidentally pressed the 'mark as adult/dead' a few times for some dragons and I'm really sorry. (Missed the clicking target and didn't realize) Is there a way to reverse this? I feel bad for putting the extra work on you all.

Don't worry about it! As long as the Dragon Cave API is working, those votes will disappear into the aether. The whole 'mark' functionality is meant as fallback logic in case there's a longer issue with DDF's API integration; a single person clicking it won't do anything.
