As for my favorite types, I'd say Water and Fighting.

Pokemon: Ho-Oh, Missingno. (ok this one doesn't really count)

Shiny: Garchomp of course Ho-Oh takes the first place. Besides, Pidgey + evos (caught these several times<3), Suicune, Rayquaza and Reshiram look good. No idea about the newest gen.

Favorite Types: My top are Dark and Dragon, but I also like Ice, and Fire.

Favorite Pokemon: My top are Houndoom, Zoroark, and Goodra, but I love so many others!

Favorite Shinies: Zorua! I love a lot, but for some reason I choose Zorua as my favorite. I do enjoy shiny Mega Garchomp, though. c: That's probably my second favrorite! Also Zekrom and Reshiram. Zekrom has green lightning and Reshiram is apparently burning potassium because the fire turns purple-pink.

My favorite Pokemon in General: Psyduck, Totodile, Blastoise, Grovyle, Alakhazam and Torchic.

 

I don't have any favorite shinies. I was never particularly fond of hunting them just to 'have' them.
