Yeah, but excel spreadsheets are my least favorite computer...thing...ever!  All those columns and rows and moving over etc., it's a nightmare!

I started in excel, but after two were eaten by my laptop, I moved to Google sheets.  That way I can access it from any computer I happen to be at.

Z'new releases:  more than a year ago, I remember getting a number of z's at the start of the drop in the left slot.  At Valentine's Day this year, I found out that at the top of the hour, new eggs start at 0 and cycle through Z in the right slot.  I just checked it out at 10 am, and I think I have it now--the left hand will start with z and the right hand will start with 0.  Left goes backwards to A/0 and right goes forwards to Z.  That works sometimes at the 5 minute slots--but the drops are so short, it's hard to tell.  So my z'advice is this for new releases before old eggs mix in:  try for the first egg on the left, or patiently refresh until you get to z on the right, preferably at the top of the hour.  It's a pain when 2 eggs are in one biome, though--using this method, I've gotten a couple of extra "large" eggs when I wanted "icy."  But I also traded two non-z "icy" eggs for one z-code icy in the hub within 5 minutes.  If anybody else gives this a try--especially for the left slot, let me know what happens--

ETA:  yeah, didn't seem to happen at 10:20!  Though first left saw was a y-code...so top of the hour, that's the time to give it a try.

In the hub--3 cb z's in one trade!  https://dragcave.net/teleport/fb737392b5eb0b50d4608defc37331fd

@Herk thanks for the antarean!

Hi everybody!

I don't collect z-codes, but I seem to have managed to collect 3 of the icy new release as z-codes. I'd happily trade them for non z-code icy new releases if someone wants them. They're in three separate trades in case someone only wants one.

Wow! There are apparently a lot of people in the market who think a z-code new egg is worth CB metallics, neglecteds, or 2G prize or SAltkin!

Certainly not me!  My standard trade in the hub is a couple 3rd gen SAkin eggs for one cb z-code hatchling (I've got a couple of happy-to-breed frost pairs), or 2 or 3 caveborn hatchlings for a z-code hatchling (always AP grabs).  Or 2 new eggs for on new z-code egg.  That's it--that's my limit for all of it.

the times i've gotten Z eggs, it's been completely random, actually. XD

Me too - or traded here for sensible money. As a result of of randomness and trading one for one I have three icy and two large zs from this release... :D

:lol: I just make a one for one offer on someone who has a z large.... Let's see if they...

I've gotten quite a few off the hub.  As I said--I've got a pair of Frost 2nd gen altkins I breed every week, and sometimes I can incuhatch tempting stuff from the AP and do a hatchling for z'hatchling trade.  I get a caveborn hatchling or two from the hub every week for very reasonable trade bait.  Almost all my trades are 2 or 3 for 1 z'hatchling deals.  Now that said--I'm talking about very common stuff, but I don't care how common it is if it's a z-code caveborn hatchling.  My army of breeding z-pairs is huge!  I guess I'm more z-breeder than z-collector.

Surprise - my offer was declined.

If I had had space I might have bred a 2 gen gold for the hell of it....

I'd love to get me a fourth z'icey one !
