Dragon's Lair

Rie smiled as Sayni warmed up to her. "There's a good girl... " she said as she kissed Sayni's nose with a giggle. She then carefully mount her, balancing herself. "Want to go for a little ride?" she asked to the water walker, though a bit unsure of what she have to do to get the dragon to move.

Once morning came, he felt his face being pushed. He opened his eyes and saw it was Maya. She let out a chirp, telling him to play with her. Caleb sighed as he lightly grabbed her and began to pet her. Maya 'purred' as she closed her eyes once more, but not from the lack of sleep. Just then, he felt his egg shaking even more. He opened the pouched and placed Maya on the ground.

He placed the egg on even ground, and watched as bits and pieces of it broke off. Eventually, a dragon plopped out the egg, wet and covered in fluids he did not want to figure out. He soon learned that this dragon was stubborn, he tried to get onto his legs, but kept falling one time after another. Eventually, Caleb washed the fluid away with a towel and some of his water. "I have the perfect name for you. Re'ja...Its Aurorian for "Stubborn, one who refuses to be defeated" Quietly said Caleb as he covered him in one of the blankets Maya used.

Tyme nodded to Pete smiled to the dragoness as she came at his request. At the odd look Dahlila gave her, she gave a weary smile and walked up to the dragon, holding her hand out to let her sniff her. "Hi, Dahlila. Are you gonna' be a good girl for me?" She smiled and paused, letting Dahlila take the last few steps towards her. I'm going to need practice riding dragons anyway, and I doubt he'll be cooperative. She smiled, thinking about her and her hatchling in the future; her hatchling who still didn't have a name.

Dahlila let out a small hatchling-like chirp. She 'wagged' her tail and licked her cheek for a few seconds, showing that she was happy with her rider.

Sayni widened her eyes, not knowing what to say. "Yep!" She blurted out.

(( They can all talk. Some telepathicaly and some just normally ))

Astrana blinked open her purple eyes and got onto her shivering feet. She looked at the little hatchling being born, and smiled. The nebula hatchling shuffled the blanket into place on his body and waddled over to the leftover pile of meat. She pulled some off of a larger piece and cocked her head at it, wanting to give it meat.

Kya followed the sounds of the camp, and eventually stumbled in. She fell onto her stomach, almost feeling as if she broke something. Astra came up and licked her cheek, chirping. "Im fine" She mumbered, stroking her back. She got into a sitting position and threw the boar in front of her, careful not to place them in the ashes of the fire.

Astrana suddenly raised her muzzle, backing away, then let out a small sneeze. The air turned white for a second from her breath and floated away. She shivered, sneezing numerous times. She was quite sick.

Arriving back at the Fashinu Base, Eiserne carried the two Guardian egg with her and went to the front desk to wait for Triana and report on her mission. She could hear a sound like a door being slammed by something hard and it was coming from her room. No doubt Leo was doing something again. The Fanisia wanted to get back to her room as soon as possible in case the little Sunstone get himself into trouble again.

Re'ja, covered in blankets took the met, with a thanking hiss. He then proceeded the eat the meat while Maya got onto her feet and walked over to Astrana, sniffing her while not changing her expression. "Hey Kya..." Said Caleb as he looked at the boar that she got, he raised an eyebrow at her before looking at Astrana. "Looks like something's wrong with your dragon...In anycase we should probably cover some ground to the spring." Explained Caleb.

"Yes, you are right" Kya said in a whisper without hesitation, remembering her mission. She sighed, wondering what would happen if her little moonstone egg died. She looked up down at Astrana and stroked her head. "I'll go get some ambrosia... It'll cure it for a few weeks. She has either a simple cold, or Yanuai" She whinced, feeling her hatchlings annoyance at the sneezing. She couldn't bother to explain what Yanuai was, her mother had told her about dragons many times before. She ventured back into the forest, and not far off she found the flower of ambrosia, she picked a few just incase they needed it in the future.

Melody slowly approached Silver. She put her hand on her neck, patting her fur. With corner of her eye she saw that Ria already sat on her dragon. Then she carefully sat on Silver's back, balancing herself. The hatchling in her backpack chirped and poked out her head curiously. Melody turned around and smiled to her. Then she looked back at silver dragon, her eyes shining exitedly. "Hi.." She told to her, turning to Pete, bit unsure.

Tyme smiled happily when Dahlila took a shine to her. She pat the dragoness' head when she came close and smiled. "Good girl! Aw, I like you!" She smiled and rubbed a little harder against Dahlila's scales, hoping she liked to be scratched.

Once she had given her report to Triana, Eiserne retreated back to her bedroom. Opening the door, Leo tumbled out onto the floor, having tried to ram the door so he could get out. The hatchling looked up at her and scrambled to stand, blushing in embarrassment. Upon landing his eyes on the new eggs, Leo tilted his head slightly as he followed Eiserne into the room. She wrapped the eggs in warm blankets and let them rest on the pillow beside hers. The curious Sunstone hatchling tried to climb up the bed, helped by Eiserne, and looked at the eggs curiously and cautiously. He constantly poked on the similar eggs, but he didn't have ill intent in his overall actions; he was merely curious.

Dahlila whinied like a horse in response, and turned her head, wanting to get riden. Oh! Oh! Where are we going? To the beach? Forest? Rocky cliffs? Pete only rid me two days ago! Excersize!

Sayni giggled in a high pitched sound and galloped forward, trying to make sure it wasn't fast enough that her rider would fall off; after all, she was getting riden bareback.

Silver smiled warmly, looking up with light purple eyes. She shuffled her muzzle into the rider's chest in response, rubbing against it. She turned back and started running, until she was just above the ground. I can glide a little, but my broken tail and sprained shoulder stop me from going high up She told telepathicaly.

As he was poking the Guardian eggs, one began to crack, causing Leo to squeak in fear. He looked at Eiserne and shivered in fear, thinking that he was breaking the egg. Eiserne approached the eggs and saw chips of the egg shells being broken. "They're hatching." She looked at the little Sunstone and smiled. She sat on the bed with Leo on her lap, watching as the twin Guardian eggs began to crack.

Zack walked over to the mighty magma dragon and laid his hand on it's shoulder. "Easy," he said before swinging onto the magmas back. "Okay, let's go," he said, patting the magma's shoulder. He gently tapped it's sides with his boots, similar to what he'd do to a horse except not as hard.

Amelia woke up suddenly, and for a few seconds, she'd forgotten where she was. It's alright, I'm safe now, she thought, patting the bed. No more rummaging through rubbish piles to survive. She took a few deep breaths, and glanced over at the little basket in the corner of the room closest to her. "So it wasn't a dream!", she exclaimed, rushing over to carefully pick up the beautiful purple egg. Amelia held it close to herself, and heard the pulse of the dragon inside. It was beating slowly, but steadily, so that meant that her dragon would be a male. She set the egg back in its basket, and pulled on a worn, but fairly clean light green dress. She picked up a worn, wooden comb, and used it to tie her hair out of the way with a scrap of ribbon. There was a simple bag containing her few possesions hanging on a peg in the wall; she added a small blanket, carefully nestled her egg into it, and went down the stairs. She saw a woman sitting behind a table in the middle of the room, but no other people. She cautiously approached the woman's desk and asked "Excuse me, ma'am, are you Triana? I'm here for a mission."

Tyme smiled happily as Dahlila became excited. "Calm down, Dahlila. We'll be going soon enough." she giggled. The horse dragon in her hands squirmed again. Proving she could hold him, she let him calm down before she finally let him drop to the ground. The hatchling practically sighed and ran about, exercising his new legs. Tyme pointed a finger at him and he came to a swift halt. "You stay close! Alright?" He gave a defeated look and nodded. "Good." The horse stood again and walked beneath Dahlila, weaving through her legs. Tyme smiled. She grabbed between the Terrae Dragon's shoulder blades and held on with her left hand. She placed her right on Dahlila's hips and hopped a few times, building her momentum. She jumped up and swung her leg over the dragon's side and sat comfortably.

Tyme looked down at Pete. "Now, what about the incubators?" She carefully rubbed Dahlila where she had gripped her scales while mounting, making sure any twisted ones returned to their rightful position.

Rie giggled a little as she enjoyed the ride. Sayni seemed obedient enough for her to handle, so she figured she'll be no problem asshe gently stroke Sayni's head. Rie then turned to the rest of the group as they mounted their dragons, interacting with them. She moved closer to them, wondering when they all will get started on the journey.Despite her nervousness, she's excited about this whole thing.

The magma smiled and trotted forward at a slow pace, then speed into a canter. He turned his head up to check if his rider wanted to go faster.

A loud crack later, two Guardian hatchlings emerged from the eggs. They yawned and chirped as they tumbled from the eggshell and onto the soft pillow. Eiserne picked up a towel and cleaned the two hatchlings thoroughly. The little Guardians looked at her and began to lick her cheeks, chirping and snuggling with her. Jealous of the attention the hatchlings received, Leo tried to join in, but found himself being pilled up by the curious and happy younger hatchlings. They poked, prodded and nipped at the male Sunstone hatchling. None too pleased, Leo let out a loud 'roar', which was just a louder growl, causing the two Guardian sisters to laugh. Chuckling softly, Eiserne picked Leo onto her lap and caressed him gently.

(( Can I play the smaller of the sisters? Or both if you let me?))

The little hatchling blinked her eyes, feeling the strange water. She yipped and shuffled her little feet on the bed, not knowing why it was all squishy. She chirped and looked around with her light purple eyes, checking her surroundings. She sighed as her sister cuddled up next to Leo for the attention; but she wanted to explore.

The guardian of nature sneezed and rolled onto her back once she felt the germs run out of her nose. She pushed her muzzle to the bed and started clawing at it in excitment. "Chirrrrrp! Chirp! Chirrpp!" She muttered, taking her paws away and staring at the edge of the 'cliff'. She waddled over and soon found herself in a heap by the bed, blinking at the wood. The little hatchling ran over to the kitchen, but fell as she still hadn't quite learned balance. She sighed and looked up at the pack of "rare dragon chow" placed up on the table, also one for commons. She stared at the strange words then looked around for a way to get up; but there was nothing.

The hatchling looked over at it's mother, cocking it's head, she wanted food.

((You can play both. ^^))

Leo looked at the Guardian curling up beside him cautiously, thinking of them as competition. The Sunstone tried to assert his supposed authority over the two younger hatchlings, but he fell short as he tripped on his own gem and unceremoniously landed on the bed. Leo chirped in a low tone, as if embarrassed.

(( Needa name them... Looks stupid how I keep saying "The little hatchling/The hatchling". ))

The larger one sighed and licked Leo's cheek, already thinking he was fairly good. She nuzzled his cheek and curled up in a ball in her lap, chirping. Suddenly she heard her sister yapping in annoyance, wanting food. Never sleeps... She told herself.

Leo tilted his head curiously. He thought that the Guardians would try to hog Eiserne's attention for themselves. He approached the larger sister and licked her back, flapping his wings excitedly. Eiserne noticed the smaller Guardian hatchling chirping. Thinking she was hungry, she grabbed some berries and sliced roast chicken she stored away. Originally, the food was meant for Leo, but seeing how the Sunstone was now busy trying to be friendly around the new hatchlings, she gave the food to the two Guardians. She noticed that the smaller hatchling seemed more spirited and energetic. "Kleine." She looked at the smaller one. "Alte." She looked at the larger one, wondering if they liked the name she came up with.

(( Why'd you have to choose 2 I won't remember x.x ))

Kleine chirped in response at the name and looked at the food lying in front of her. She started sniffing at it and pawing; wondering if it would move. She looked up at her mother, she seemed to let her eat it- so it seemed safe. She sniffed it again and touched the roast chicken and felt how squishy it was.

Kleine then pushed the group of berries with the tip of her muzzle, sniffing them at the same time. She yipped and picked one up into her mouth. What do I do now? She wondered, shuffling it around her mouth.

Kleine managed to bite it to bits until she had swallowed the delicous sensation. "Chirp! Chirrrppp! Chiiirp! Yipp!" She mumbered through food in her mouth, finally figuring out how to eat and what it was. She seemed to enjoy it, and dug into the roasted chicken. The berries tasted better, but the chicken defiantly came first. Soon she had saved nothing for the others, just tiny sticks from the top of the berries.

She chirped and waddeled up to bag again, finally spotting a mountain. She hopped up on the 'lines' inbetween the four legs and hopped onto the wood- actually a chair. She managed to get up with her feet squirming at the bottom of the table, then she got the bottom edge of the rare dragon chow and starting gnawing on it with her teeth, eventually it didn't work- so she pulled it and the thing popped open, making her fall back and giggle in draconic. Little, brown biscuits fell out onto the floor, some stayed in the bag.

Kleine squeezed her head into the hole; finding out that it was only a quarter filled due to the food on the ground, she swallowed one up and smiled- delicous. She managed to squeeze her whole body into the darkish bag and noticed that it was much harder to breath. The rest of the food was piled up at the corner. Whats happening? She yapped at the same time as the bag tipped over, she fell forward onto her belly and squawked in fear, then noticed everything was turned around. She dug into the food and started eating.

((.... I wuv her ))
