Bands and TV characters count as well. Lord Voldemort von Smurf William the Bloody Smurf Angelus Smurf Gibbs Likes to Bite Gibbs Bites Tony Drusilla Smurf Willow Bites Tara Plus a whole lot more along the same lines as above. I have 2 vamps named after Pam from True Blood (one was before she was given a full name, and the other after I think *season 3 ep 10 when they said her full name). Posted August 30, 2010 Not exactly celebrities, but all the names of my dragons are songtitles (with small changes to make them sound more like names, or to include "Dorkface" and "Thuwed" if applicable). Of course the songs mostly don't fit the medieval setting of DC so I always try to make up stories in the dragon description to explain the names without referring to the songs. Bionicle: Note: Some of of these names (specifically characters that don't appear as sets and a location) may only be recognizable if you follow the Bionicle story closely. Tarix of Tajun (I originally named him Tarix, but after my being inactive for too long, his name got wiped and someone else took it. He was my first Bionicle-named dragon [and first anything-named dragon]) Matoro Frostwing (Matoro was of course taken, since he's a very popular character ) Tarduk (thank goodness this didn't also get "stolen"!) Strakk (didn't lose this either ) Dekar (another safe! ) Radiak (okay, gonna stop saying what I didn't lose; all the un-surnamed Bionicle names are the names I didn't lose) Iconox Takanuva (Funny story: I was going to name Radiak this but the name was taken at the time. However, as soon as Radiak matured, I discovered that the name was wiped and gave myself a big headdesk. I immediately bred Radiak and thankfully got a Gold upon whom I bestowed this name. Now I'm a hypocrite. Takanuva's probably my #1 favorite character in Bionicle.) Cortesius Vastus Jerbraz Tobduk Johmak Baterra Lord Tuma (after Tuma) Defilak Sister of the Skrall (after the specie, which is plural) Orde (I originally named him Surel, but I lost the name. >_> That one suited him better, but Orde works too.) Tamaru (I originally named him Piruk, but that was also "snatched". But hey, Tamaru was taken before, and I have it now. ) Stronius (he had a different Bionicle name (that was a combo; he's a Split) originally, but as soon as I saw that this name was available, I immediately used it since that was what I wanted to name him. Angonce (he used to have a non-Bionicle name, but I can't remember what it was. So I named him after this awesome character.) Vakama (had a surname, but since the un-tampered name was opened, I took it) Nikila Stormwing (after Nikila) Gorast Mutran Zesk Sarda Vican Others: Cynder Nightwing (after Cynder from The Legend of Spyro series) Wyldfyre (from Dragon Booster) Storm Shenron (reference to Shenron from Dragonball/Z/GT) Orlando Florawing (Orlando Bloom reference) Garnet Wind (from Battle B-Damon) Zon Saturday (The Secret Saturdays) William Furno (Hero Factory.
