Posted February 17, 2023 (edited) I had to start a thread for it! They're too gorgeous not to! I'm very eager to see how they look with my favorite green dragons, Fever Wyverns and Equinoxes. With their rich emerald green and the bright red chest, along with the creamy tones in their plumage, I think they'll be incredible with my favorite Valentine's dragon, the Heartseeker. I'm only sad that I have to wait a whole year! I'm also thinking that we might finally have a Holiday dragon that looks reeeeally good with the bronzey Antareans, which I love but have a hard time finding good matches for. I like several green options, especially Fevers, Almeralds and Undines: Spoiler Almerald Fever Undine They're also cool with some bright orange, like Lihnseyre, Kingcrowne and Mageia Xeno: Spoiler Lihnseyre Mageia Kingcrowne I like contrast so I'm partial to how their colours pop with dark stuff, like Hooded Murklings, Labradorites (the iridescence!) and Luminox wyverns: Spoiler Murkling Labradorite Luminox Finally, Pyrrhichios!!! That is all...they both have iridescent plumage and some more neutral shades, it's perfect. Such a versatile breed, I love them already. Edited February 17, 2023 by MissK. Posted February 17, 2023 I am sad because they are female, and so is my Shimmer. I am actually planning on breeding mine (when I get some, as I am sure that there will be some coming thru the AP that were generated on the 14th as I hate to tie up eggslots) and just dumping the Xocoatlkins into the AP and hope others do the same. Posted February 20, 2023 I expected to see a topic like this in the breeding board instead of the main discussion board tbh, anyway I posted in the Valentine breeding topic that I'm thinking rainbow Coppers if that works, and today I successfully got a Hellfire x Xocoatl so I'm gonna start one of those too bc why not. They DO look really nice with Ke'maro! I like how the feathers go together with the Florets, but I just can't bring myself to match them with true whites or true blacks -- their colors are so warm and gradient. Maybe with Purple Florets, though? My little sneakasneak baby is growing up... Also, someone mentioned this above, so I wanted to throw it in. It's so bright! Posted February 26, 2023 (edited) Well, my first two instincts were Tutela ("it'll be dark rainbow x light rainbow!") and silver or Indigo Herald ("hope the Xoco plays up the rainbow on the Herald wings!") We haven't hit a Silver or Indigo moon phase yet so I haven't tried the Lunar one, but I did do the Tutela cross and I'm not sure I like it, honestly. Maybe it will improve if it hits 3G, so I'll at least breed my Test Tut a mate come next Valentines before deciding whether to switch to something else. Hopefully the Lunar crosses will come out better. Meanwhile I tried my other one with a Canopy, and am not quite sure how I feel about it; the green is a little too bright, but the other colors are a pretty nice match, maybe?
