I've strung six strings of cranes, with some LEGO sorting in between stringings. When the lady said the minifigures were in pieces, I figured heads, torsos, legs. Nope. Heads, armless torsos, handless arms, and even a couple of loose legs. There's not a single intact one in the bunch. I'm not even sure I have enough bits to put together any complete ones.

@trystan @Long_Before_Sunrise well, he was hanging and rubbing against the box so I was like "......you wanna go in box". I had to open the flap though which spooked him uwu

In Anne Bishop's The Others series, one of the ways Meg, the main character, wins over the werewolves-but-not-werewolves is by buying them extra large dog beds for them to lie in while they're protecting her as she works in the Lakeside Courtyard's post office.

I am also under the weather with sinus nonsense, but overall had a lovely day. I got to see a friend from my old job for a few hours, Ben and I went on date night, played a game online with him, our roommate, and another friend of mine, AND managed to get my adulting done. Going to bed here shortly, tomorrow is early OT day.

I'm off to do bloodwork this morning for my six monthly checkup. Why is it I always really want breakfast on the one day I can't have it till later?

@Lagie oh my goodness if that isn't me. I have ~many disorders but I swear nothing makes me hungrier than not being able to eat.  Meanwhile, on most days I just don't even feel hungry. Cruel world 🤣

Walked with friends this morning. The trail was a little slick because it had rained and there were wet leaves down on the ground. But it was a lovely walk and we all made it safely back to our cars.

 

Not much else planned for today except household chores. No fun but must be done.

Two days' worth back to back is a lot. I hope yours go well. Mine tends to be in and out usually fairly speedily as it's a visiting specialist so she doesn't have the walk-ins that the regular doctors have to fit in.

I have doctor's appointments Tuesday and Wednesday.

Joining the doctor's visiting group with an appointment on Thursday morning. Then Thursday evening, I'll be going to a showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, with shadowcast, prop bags, and a special appearance by Barry Bostwick.

 

Also got much exercise of the most fun kind this weekend - I was at the barrier for Sabaton and Epica on Friday night (Snagged a pick, too, Chris stuck it to Joakim's head, Joakim tossed it, and I got it!) and while I was sadly in the actual seats instead of down on the floor, I was at Iron Maiden and Within Temptation Sunday night! Legs hurt, back hurts, throat hurts, voice is half gone, hearing is half gone - best weekend I've had in years!

Two days back to back is rough. First is a specialist - spine, so that should take forever. Then the next day I have to do 2 MRIs brain/neck. Just thrilled. 🤣

Shall we rename CPA to the Certified Physicians' Appointments, or some such? Since so many of us have them?

Sure, that works.  I had a telehealth appointment earlier today, and it basically told me that I'm where I am supposed to be at this age and place in my life call my healthwise.

 

 We also went shopping, and now we have a fully stocked refrigerator. I also got a library card for the county system, they have a number of libraries and the branch that's about 5 minutes away from me is in a Victorian house. It's actually pretty cool.

 

 Went to Target and Michael's and picked up a few things. the kitchen is coming together nicely, but there's still a lot of stuff to be done around here, I mean we only moved in Friday night.....

 

 The plan is for the  Comcast guy to come out and set things up on Wednesday. We're also supposed to get another Internet Jack and another TV another TV cable Jack.

 

So the guy that sold us the house is actually coming back out tomorrow (hopefully) to add some outlets to our upstairs office space. I really hope he does come out, because I technically start back to work on Wednesday, but my boss knows it might not be 'til Thursday.

 

 Also, trick or treating in the cave starts at midnight, right?
