Posted August 30, 2021 (edited) 15 minutes ago, Lagie said: Why do some cats scoop a couple of pieces out of the bowl, then eat them from the ground? well.... cats are weird. this is a known fact. however: our floofy boy Rocky used to do that, but he'd grab food with his mouth and drop it on the floor and eat it from there. i can't remember what my search string was, but a few hit on google said that the bowl might be too small for his whiskers - whisker fatigue. so i went looking for a food bowl with minimal or no sides, and found a "whisker bowl" at PetSmart. we have that for almost all our kitties. the last bowl is also a shallow bowl with a ridgey bottom, which i think is designed to slow down the cat while they're eating. i try to give that one to Ash, who likes to inhale his food and then try to steal from everyone else Edited August 30, 2021 by trystan Share this post Link to post
