Oh no! What happened?

Nothing terrible, just finally paid off the last of my car loan. Took a huge chunk of my savings. The good news is I'll be able to get a slighter better mortgage now (not that I'll actually be able to afford a house until I build my saving back up).

Well.... one step forward and one step back kinda thing. Luckily not two steps backwards

I know. It's going to be better in the long run, but it still sucks to see so much money go out.

 

Did your new games arrive?

Yeah I know the feeling. It's like me with paying off my credit card!

 

Yeah both games came.

Will only be able to get them over the weekend when I'm home!

If only we could have stuff without having to pay for it.

 

Oh good. I hope your mom puts them somewhere safe!

Yeah I wish that every time I go to bed.

 

She will most likely put it somewhere in my room

Only in games I will ever be stealthy! So I don't know about the thieving thing.

I can't even be stealthy in games. I got stabbed through the ribcage six times this morning.

Yeah I'm also not really that stealthy in games.... but I try!

 

Also finished Spyro last night. I literally played that game 9 years ago. No wonder I couldn't remember how it ended. So now I'm prepared at least.

I was trying! But the fudger kept turning around at the wrong moment. In the end I decided to just melt his helmet off and bean him in the face with a rock. 

 

Huzzah for beating Spyro! Did you get 100%?

Well this Spyro game don't really have trophies/achievements and stuff... but I did max out all the powers.

I meant did you get all the gems and mini-games beaten and stuff.

This game doesn't have that. Just getting gems to level out the powers.

It's not like the first game at all

No mini-games or secret levels? 

 

Did it even have flying missions?

Nope none of that.

There is flying... but only when you learn for fly the first time and when you try to fly away from Cynder.

But I love the flying in this game a lot more! The movement is so much nicer. Even if you fly into an iceberg

Yeah I'd totally slam into a mountain or something.

 

I loved the flying levels in the original Spyro, especially the last secret level where it's unlimited. Even after beating the entire game I would load it up just to faff around on that one level.

 

There needs to be more flying in games.

I remember the flying in the original Spyro.

But this flying in the New Beginning is so much more satisfying for me.

Aw man. All this talk about old games has got me thinking about Jade Cocoon again. I want to play it again so much T-T

I still have to try out the Valkyrie Profile game.

 

I think I saw a Jade Cocoon on Bid or Buy... But it was really pricey

Play Valkyrie profile and tell me what it's like. I've heard a lot of good things about it but I'll probably never get to play myself. 

 

If you ever see JC or the sequel on on sale, buy it. It's so much fun.

I'll play it after the Spyro games... They will go fast I believe.

That game looks like it will take a while

 

Yeah I'm checking the JC but dang...  not those prices.

It is strange that JC still sells for such a decent price. Most games from that era are bargin bin now but JC can still fetch 2-3 year old prices. 

 

I wish they could have sold more at the time, then maybe the studio wouldn't have closed.

Yeah... this is all local sellers. So everything will be a bit higher.

But then again if I import the delivery cost would end up the same as if I were to buy local.
