The Bahamas is 5th in the world of most expensive places to live, and our entry-level kennel staff earn a measly $5.25/hour and it never goes up. Third world toppage, page 746. Posted June 5, 2019 i've gotten little raises at my retail job over the past 8 years that i've been there (since 2011) my main job, on the other hand.... i've been here since january of 2007, and since we moved to our smaller office in may of 2010, i've lost hours the first few years (which is why i have the retail job in the first place.) my hourly rate has been the same since 2010.... i used to work M-F 9-5, which was 40 hours a week and now it's 24 hours a week - Mon-Thurs 9-3.
