Yeah had a bit of trouble driving back home now. 

At least the barrels we placed outside got filled with water.

What will you use that water for?

Most likely water the garden or a car wash session. We don't have a filter system to clean the water in order to use it for washing or washing the dogs.

True... but I kinda have to figure out how the get the water out the barrels cause I haven't had a chance to put taps on them

Are the barrel open topped? Then just dip the watering can in?

They half open.

Had to use a grinder to cut a part of the top off. The I just placed the near the rain gutter thing next to the house. So they filled up faster but I didn't get around to put taps on

Do you have another empty container you can pour the water into while you afix the taps?

No

I might have to make a plan by using a bucket.

The rain held off, thank goodness, but one if my volunteers actually yelled at me when I asked her to not take something to a trunk sale. Sigh.
