while I love brutes , I think flamingos would make a lovely third for a monotone lineage

( i actually quite like Flamingos as well)

Thanks for trying, RE! I got all Azures from mine, too. I guess I need to collect some more Azure males. *sigh*

 

And I'm having trouble getting any egg at all from this pair even with fertility. *sigh* Just bred a replacement for the Monarch and will see how that works out. Getting a Blacktip probably isn't going to be easy anyway, but an interested pair will at least make it more likely.

Well, it took me 103 breedings to get a silver Lunar Herald from Almerald for someone, so I'll just declare any Azure egg a contribution towards the ratios that will help with future breedings

Oh yeah one question, do the dragons for it have to be labeled common in the wiki in order to work for this or does anything not rare works?

The wiki is a good guideline but it's not always accurate. If you see a breed in the cave all the time, it's probably common enough.

That labelling as "common" is not accurate for once, and secondly it's horribly outdated. I go by the first table here http://dragcave.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon_Types which lists basically everything that isn't special in any way as "commons and uncommons".

Can something be included in this project if it follows the pattern, but is 5 generations instead of 4? I have already collected CBs and didn't realize 4g was the standard.

Also: Would Lunar Heralds or Kingcrownes count as common, or are they uncommon?

For the purpose of breeding, Lunars are a tad less common than Kingcrownes (you'll breed plenty of Kingcrownes before you get a Lunar).

For the purpose of this project ... I don't think it matters. I used Lunars here: https://dragcave.net/lineage/S5s7Y

You know you can use your CBs for multiple projects, yes? If you find you have extras, make another project? E.g. I have made two with Skywings: https://dragcave.net/lineage/xUe88 and https://dragcave.net/lineage/6pzXQ (Acelet was an AP find)
and two with Coastals: https://dragcave.net/lineage/ViriZ (daddy was an AP find, I think) and https://dragcave.net/lineage/BhVfU (daddy was a gift)
