Starlight was flying above the alpine forests until she spotted the rakayah clan. The nebula softly landed among the trees and stayed hidden in the dark shadows, trying her best to stay unnoticed.

Sanitat was on a stroll through the woods, being the medicine dragon she was quite bored, not being any blood spill in her clan. Her white feathers shined like diamonds in the forest's light.

Kiacha let out a low sigh as she sank down against the broad trunk of an old oak tree. They had reached the gentle shade, and comforting presence of the forest. They had been lucky, managing to get away and avoid being seen before the vampire warlord had thrown up the magic shield. It had been a longer and faster trip than the party was used to, the only one who hadn't collapsed under the wonderfully cool shade was Lorcc, but, he just stayed standing and pacing out of some strange sense of pride. Everyone else, even Kiacha, had found themselves a tree, a smooth place, amoung the fallen leaves, and had taken a quick rest. Shade had been the first one to recover and she moved a little distance off so as to watch out for any danger. Lorcc finally satisfied that he had proved how tough he was left his post and went and lay down next to Kiacha.

For nearly ten minutes all was still, the dragons rested peacefully, and even Belle's breathing had evened out. Kiacha though she looked dead asleep, was listening to the gentle whispers of the trees. The oak she was leaning against in praticular was quietly talking in her ear, telling stories of fires, wars, the changing seasons, the flight of birds, and the tread of deer. Suddenly a different sound cut through the air, a sharp urgent chirp, that was the signal Kiacha had taught to all of her dragons to call her if there was trouble. Standing up swiftly she grabbed her bow and quiver from where she had left them resting against the oak. Lorcc also stood up to join her, however, after a silent gesture the rest of the clan went back to resting, if less relaxedly.

Moving soundlessly through the trees Kiacha soon found where Shade was hiding, beneath the low hanging branches of a willow tree. Looking around Kiacha was a little shocked to see how close they actually were to civilization. Just ahead of them was what looked like a inn, a interesting looking place as she could hear, shouts, drunken songs, and the dull thud of flesh against flesh pouring from out from the inn's cracked windows and propped open door. However this is not what drew Kiacha's gaze. No, what concerned her was the black silloette of a dragon approaching fast. After a few tense moments of watching the dragon draw closer the three of them released a collective breath. By looking at the angle at which the dragon was flying, they weren't the target.

But as Kiacha's gaze traveled back down towards the inn she realiezed what the dragons target was. Not even thinking about her actions Kiacha stood up smoothly drawing out an arrow and fitting it onto her bow. "LOOK OUT!" She yelled, while at the same time taking aim at the diving dragon. Aiming for the dragon's head and neck, she hoped that she would at least make the dragon check it's desent.

A strong gust of wind drove both the scent of a hidden clan and the sound of a loosed arrow at Tulahy. She caught just enough of a flash of moonlight off the arrowhead to understand that it was aimed at Draugr. With an angry hiss, she launched herself toward the shooter. No one shot at Draugr. Ever.

Rakayah was trying to coax the glowstone dragon hatchling out of it's egg shell, when Frostsheild's ear flicked, glancing his head up. He had thought he had seen...

Reefninja halted, looking up as a shaft of light from the setting sun broke through the clouds.

"Ohhh." she muttered in annoyance. Madamblue looked up too, and she hissed, before she was stopped in her tracks, imobilized.

"We better make camp, anyway." Blossomdear shrugged, stretching her wings.

Emeraldleap slid off of Frostsheilds' back, and Frostsheild let Rakayah down onto her feet, settling down with the clan.

"We'll go into the un-owned alpine territory tonight." Frostsheild murmured, "the border on Amacules' terrritory is near, it was an honor to traverse under their protection thus far."

Reefninja nodded in agreement. "What is the plan when we get to Lilivyn and her clan?" She asked.

"Just stay with their company, reunite our clans." Rakayah confirmed, "She only has four dragons, but combined with our five, that should be formidable enough to discourage anymore raids on our eggs."

The clan nodded in agreement, although Emeraldleap did'nt look convinced. "The vampire dragons, and who ever their leader is, are very determined," She muttered, looking scared, "This is very uncertain times to be living in."

Rakayah, frowned, but shook her head, sitting down in the snow and cradling the egg in her lap; the hatchling inside poked it's nose out, sniffing. "Cute little warrior."

Frostsheild's ear twitched, and he glanced up again, unsure if he had heard anything or not... His blue eyes peered throught the halflight, glimmering from the distance.

Kiacha swore lightly under her breath as the other dragon turned and strated to dive torwards her, obviously not pleased that Kiacha had been trying to take down the dragon's partner. Taking a quick step back she drew out another arrow and loaded into her bow. Quickly taking aim she was about to fire when she heard a deep growl boiling up behind her, it was Lorcc. The large Tri-Horn wyvern gently pushed his smaller human companion behind him before taking another step forward positioning himself between her and the looming danger. He then faced the attacked and drawing himself up to his full height he let out a concusive blast of a roar, he had always been a warrior and it was times like these that Kiacha was glad he was on her side. Knowing better than to argue with the stubborn dragon Kiacha turned and said to Shade "Go! Get Xano and Estora." Shade nodded once before diving off through the under brush. "And make sure Pesca and Belle are hidden." Kiacha shouted after her hopping that she had heard.

Now all there was to do, was keep these two dragons buisy until the other got here. Already having an arrow ready to fire Kiacha dropped down to one knee and fired again at the diving dragon. Now that she was not trying to just get the dragon's attention away from the sleeping dragon she aimed to kill. To kill a dragon with a bow was actually quite hard, Kiacha herself has only achieved it a handful of times. However if she was careful she could deffinetly do some damage. Aiming this time for the base of the dragon's right wing she released the arrow into the air.

The arrow skewered through Tulahy's topmost wing joint. She loosed a short shriek of agony and plummeted the rest of the way to the ground. The initial impact stunned her, but a quick head shake righted her senses. She snarled a threat at the wyvern and rose to her feet. She lashed her tail once and kneaded the ground with her talons, more than ready for a fight.

Rest huh. And it's almost to our borders, hopefully they can handle it from that point on Starlight thought as she resumed a more relaxed position. She looked up at the coming stars, in this case her nebula. She then focused back on need task

Sanitat, realizing that it's night, returned back to the temple like castle. She met up with adulfi who had just came back from a border patrol.

As soon as the dragon hit the ground Lorcc lept forward ready to do his share of damage. Jaws snapping together like a bear trap he went down into a low crouch slowly pacing forward just out of range of the dragon's potencial attacks. Suddenly he coiled his legs underneath him and lept forward. Since he was a wyvern he had to be careful of using his front legs, as there was a greater chance of damaging his wing, so as he lept forward he leaned back and lashed violently at the opposing dragon with his hind legs. Kiacha stayed where she was but she already had another arrow loaded into her bow. Some might think of her as being cowardly just sitting back and allowing Lorcc to do the fighting, however, in her experience it was never wise to try and get inbetween two fighting dragons. So for now she was content with providing support for Lorcc and keep any other attacking dragons back.

Draugr halts in his flight path at Tulahy's yowl. His eyes widen as a wyvern launches itself at her with its talons extended. She bats them aside easily and springs at it when its back is turned, apparently trying to snap its neck. Even though his help doesn't seem to be needed, Draugr nose dives at the fight.

O'raan shakes his head and makes a frustrated noise. When those two aren't making him nauseous, they irritate the ever-loving hell out of him.

"I guess it's up to us" he says resignedly to Mhera. She flexes her talons in response.

((Recap please?))

As Khalon walk in to the inn a great cry went up from the already noisy crowd. She was like a queen here. "Hey Fadra!" She called to a man serving mugs of rum to a table. "Where is my table?" She asked with the slightest smile. Fadra nodded and pointed to the corner of the room where an empty table sat. Khalon walked over to the table and sat in a chair and propped her feet atop the table. Several men came and sat down at her table. "Hey Khalon, how 'bout a game o' cards?" asked a rough looking man with broad shoulders and an light beard. "Hey, not today Hulgea. I'm only here for information. Whats the scoop?" She said fingering her knives. She may have been like a queen here, but these guys liked robbing royalty. "One game, then I'l tell you what you want to know." He said. "Sure, deal me in" She replied, "But first, Check his sleeves boys! We don't want a cheater at my table!" She added not a second later. The men laughed, every one knew Hulgea cheated. The emptied his sleeves of extra cards and began playing.

Crimson watched through a window as Khalon played. A slight smile ran across his face. He knew this was the one place she was actually herself, and he was glad there was a place for her.

(ok)

Titus went back to the throne, alongside Thunderbolt. "No trouble, everything fine, more eggs this year. See, neutral is key. Let everyone else kill each other, and we will thrive." he explained to Thunderbolt. They both agreed on plans, as they were a good pair to lead.

Lorcc recovered quickly and spinning over he positioned his back legs so as to catch the attacking dragon. At the same time he reached out with his wing claws trying to hook them into the softer flesh of the dragon's belly, and he also reached his head up jaws wide open prepared to cruch anything that came into contact with them. Kiacha on the other hand was letting out a stream of arrows, aimed at the other that with now diving towards the fight. Lorcc was a good fighter however to keep two trained dragons at bay would even strain him a bit. Suddenly over her shoulder she heard several more battle cries. These belonged to Xano, Shade, and Escora, all fit and ready to enter the battle. However all three instead of charging forward approached carefully, knowing that to go forward recklessly would only endanger themselves.

(sorry this took awhile, I had a ton of stuff to do)

The card game was over quickly, it ended with Khalon threatening to slit everyone's throat, wich was how it usually ended. "Hulgae, give me what ya' got." Khalon said as the other men left her table. "Recent attacks on small clans, clans movi-" he was cut short by Khalon raising her hand. "Something I don't already know!!" she yelled irritated. "Then I cant help you! sorry!" Hulgae said getting up. " What a waste!" Khalon said standing up and walking out the door. As she did she swiped a purse of money from a mans bag without him noticing, threw it to the Innkeeper. "free drinks for everyone" she whispered to him winking. She walked out and waited for Starhunter and Wrath to return.

Draugr throws himself at the wyvern and bites down savagely on its crest, intent on snapping its neck, while Tulahy goes in to break its wings. Meanwhile, O'raan and Mhera are busily wrestling with the nebula, who's doing an excellent job fighting considering the two-on-one situation.

Yes, they are already fighting. He's got two on him right now, but he's holding his own. Kiacha's got a tri-horned wyvern there trying to back him up, who's got another two vamps on him, and Kiacha herself's got a bow and arrow.

(Sorry haven't posted, not sure what's goin on with the story or how to tie Orion's group in to it.)

Orion awoke from his nap and gently woke up Alsia. "I think it's time we told them..." Orion whispered. "I agree" Alsia whispered. They walked together to the throne room and stood, both the humans and the dragons of the castle were currently oblivious to their presence, each of them enjoying the night. "Everyone! We have an announcement to make!" In an instant the dragons stopped what they were doing and paused silently waiting for what he would say next. Orion took a couple steps forward as did Alsia. "As most of you know, Alsia and I are very close and care for each other deeply." Alsia began to speak, "Orion is brave, he is fearless, he is cunning, he is kind. Most of all, Orion is loving and loyal as can be." Orion smiled at her. "And Alsia is the most beautiful, intelligent, caring, and faithful being I have ever met." Orion took a brief pause. "Which is why... we are getting married!" Orion announced with a joyous grin. All the dragons burst into a booming cheer. Alsia and Orion were both good to them and everyone in the castle, dragon and human, were friends. Many walked up to the two of them and congradulated them and Emeraldan, one of Orion's oldest friend walked up and hugged him gently, on the verge of tears. "I'm so happy for you guys!" "Thank you Emeraldan, I have dreamed of this since I fell in love with her, we plan on having the ceremony nearly 2 weeks from now, everyone is welcome, I would like if you helped spread the word." "No Problem" Emeraldan told him with a joyous smile on his face. "You know there's still a party going on, join in!" Alsia looked at Orion and smiled with a bright look in her eyes which told clearly that she was interested. They both joined the festivities and partied with the others until a faint sunrise could be seen off to the horizon, but by then most had fallen asleep, some in bed, many at whatever they were doing, some passed out at tables or games and some passed out quite comically such as the dragon that appeared as if he was hugging a tree. It was a fun night for everyone but when they started waking up somebody was gonna have to help clean up the mess...and start preparing for the wedding and Christmas a week after that. It was gonna be busy but everyone finished what needed to be done far ahead of schedule by working so hard.
