Forum Name: MadameX Scroll Link: http://dragcave.net/user/MadameX Secret Word: Dirndl New to DC and here and been looking into breeding, but finding most of it confusing I just found this thread and it looks like it might be fairly easy to keep up with and not get all tangled up in the gens...lol! It will take me a while yet, as I've only got 12 total on my scroll, and not all have hatched/gendered atm. The Grey and the Balloon, however, are already disqualified, as I, being ignorant of how breeding works, bred them and instantly produced an egg (I had thought we had to wait to see if they even liked each other!) said egg, unfortunately, was immediately abandoned *sniffle* since my scroll was locked. Lesson learned. I hope someone has picked it up...looks to be a little balloon. Trying my best to get more eggs, but I always hit the limit...LOL! Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) More maturations, more eggs, more hatchlings in my Commons Court Baron Pain (Blue) and Baroness Fallen Angel (Orange) are in the ER now and should mature any second. Two eggs hatched out in Teams Lock Up the Wolves (a BBW, Influenced female) and Dream Evil (a Sunsong, Influenced male). Their names are Twisted Baroness and Night Baron (oddly enough). They will not be mated to each other, but their mates have been conceived and are in the egg stage now. I have only one egg left to breed and my second generation will be filled out. I'm just waiting for its parents, Lady Invisible and Lord Shames the Night of Team Holy Diver, to come out of cooldown from their "no egg produced" breeding attempt of last week. Two days to go on that. I hit Lord Double Monday with a dose of Fertility earlier this week, and today he and Lady Golden Rules of Team Strange Highways gave me a pretty Swallowtail egg. And…I had a funny feeling this would happen…she and Baron Challis refused Baroness Black's parents are still in cooldown for a couple days. I bred and Influenced a backup from Challis's parents, Eriel and Annika, and this time they gave me a Dragonhorse I'll breed a backup for Baroness Black when her parents, Double Monday and Golden Rules, come out of cooldown. Posted October 9, 2011 (edited) Big news! Baroness Black accepted Baron Blessing as her mate, and they gave me a lovely Swallowtail egg from Team Angry Machines!! It has been Influenced and Incubated and should hatch in a couple days. So Team Magica is out of the running. Baroness Big Sister will be held in reserve to breed a backup in case the Angry Machines Duke doesn't like his mate, Duchess Evilution. Duchess Tiger-Rider will grow up this afternoon, around 1PM Pacific Time. Her intended, Duke Denzil, is waiting patiently in the Astronomy Tower of Caer Rainbow.
