Posted August 31, 2011 After a long break from vacation, I have now managed to get 14 of the 16 1st level (patrician) pairs to breed, and the other two are "no interest" rather than utter refusal, so they should work with fertility. At the second level (Quaestors), I have successfully bred 5 of the 8 (eventual pairs). At the third level (Aedeles), my Neotropical refused the Swallowtail, so I have to regroup... I have 3 more eggs growing for this level, though. My 5 existing Aedeles (or soon to hatch into aedeles) are Canopy, Neotropical, Gray, Swallowtail and Stone. As a result, I don't have any 4th generation members yet. Share this post Link to post

So I decided to make it extremely difficult on myself by deciding on a pattern that only included about three of my eligible dragons... but I've come quite a ways with the CB's I was lacking. I'm doing a kind of rainbow effect with my first generation, with a solid vs. multicolor kind of theme. Red Team: Lady Crimson Tide of Commons / Red Dorsal Orange Team: (Adult Pair) Lady Orange Sherbert of Commons/ Lord Agent Orange of Commons Yellow Team: (Adult Pair) Lady Amber Waves of Commons / Lord Tesla Coil of Commons Green Team: Lady Green Bean of Commons/ Terrae influenced male Blue Team: Daydream egg influenced female/ Lord Blue Moon of Commons Purple Team: Lady Purple Tye Dye of Commons/ Lord Purple Haze of Commons Pink Team: Lord Pinkerton of Commons/ Flamingo B&W Team: (wondering if whitexalbino or whitexember would be better?) Albino/Ember Bolded are the eggs/(hatchies?) I need, and any help would be greatly appreciated and repaid in any way that I am able. Will probably start on the 2nd gen as soon as certain hatchies grow up. Edits; Daydream hatchi gendered wrong, Hellfire hatchi gendered correctly. Got a red egg. Old Pairing Team Harry Potter (Draco - Grey) vs Team Percy Jackson (Bianca - Electric) = Grey egg - Win for Team Harry Potter Which means three teams in the final 4 breeds... Team Percy Jackson had two breeds in there already so it was no big loss that their third didn't make it. Later today I will probably try the 4th gen pairings and see where that gets me. Posted September 7, 2011 Progress report: The balloon who was refusing to mate since the beginning of the project finally produced progeny, knocking the deep sea dragons out of the running in the process. I'll be updating this post with the rest of the second generation once bred, as I only have four pairings to go. With any luck, I won't have to start from square one again with some pairs. With the way my scroll ratios are going (80% female unless influenced), I'll have to influence the last 4 eggs male. Will wait until the second lot of eggs hatch and gender before attempting to get the last half of the 2nd generation. @rainbowsmile: I would personally go for the WhitexEmber, however it seems like you have single colour pairings happening there, so maybe the WhitexAlbino pairing would be best suited. Posted September 7, 2011 I tried both of my 4th gen pairings today. One produced an egg, the other had a lack of interest. I'll have to try that other pair again next week, but here's this week's results. Pairing Team Peanuts (Rerun - Water Horse) vs Team Percy Jackson (Rachel - Waverunner) = Water Horse egg - Win for Team Peanuts Not a major loss since Team Percy Jackson had two chances. They can still beat Team Harry Potter out for the other 5th gen spot. The thing I find ironic is that when I first picked out my teams for the naming scheme, traumeule cast her vote for Team Peanuts winning. So far, it's looking like she may get her wish.
