Hmmm, are 2 cb coppers (1 green, 1 any color), 1 cb blusang, and a curled black alt. (any lineage) too much to ask for a cb silver or is it just my impatience?

Yeah that's too much to ask unless CB Coppers went down that much. 1 CB Green Copper = 1 CB Silver.

You're most likely going to have to do an IOU, I don't think someone's gonna have a Curled Alt black, 2 CB Coppers, and a CB Blusang at hand at once. People who usually get CB Metals usually never have a alt anything on scroll, same goes the other away. LOL

to me, the Balloon Checker would be rarer and worth more imo.

 

its asthetically pleasing to the eyes, as the tarnished copper is about the closest match you can have to a Bronze Shimmer in color imo. the contrast of colors is very nice as well.

 

downside is, offspring will be hard to get from the lineage with the balloons and continuing it will be difficult due to the use of Coppers.

 

 

so value wise, the Balloon one will be worth more but harder to trade. the other would be easier to trade imo, because of the mates and the likelyhood of getting a shimmer form the line.

Really? I'm going to remove the curled black alt since I already got an IOU for one and if no one has it on hand with cb metals then it's a waste of time but I thought 2 cb brown coppers and a cb blusang would be a fair trade. Idk maybe I'm biased because I'm down with a cold and really want this trade but I thought this would be fair.

I would say the Ballon is worth more because it's looks prettier to me.

And I'd be interested in hearing what one can get for 3EG Shimmers like you have

 

(No offense I just state my personal opinion) I see why somebody would want to have such 3rd-gens but to me, they are not perfect. I'd prefer an inbred but perfect one instead.

Bleck! I overslept and now I'm just bored/procrastinating. I hibernate whenever I get the tiniest cold and it's just ugh. And yup, got a cb blusang and an IOU for 2 coppers, any color. For those wondering silvers have definitely been more difficult to find than golds but the value hasn't really changed. I got a lot of good offers though that I would have taken in a heartbeat (ex: paper, blusang, opal, cb tan, + more stuff I forgot) but I have low eggspace and just needed cb coppers. Which apparently go on a drought whenever I enter the biomes

@Mondat: Thanks for your opinion! I'd really love a perfect checker as well (although I haven't seen one beyond 3G) but I'd rather avoid the EG inbred ones even though that makes going beyond 3G more feasible

on the subject of inbreds: well, they techncially are only worth something, if you can get hold of BOTH types of eggs. So need to breed double the time, which will reduce its worth. One thing that helps is the bad breeding all around - you get usually plenty of fails anyway.

What are people getting for CB Coppers?

I've gotten:

For a green copper, fifteen black hatchlings and an alt black

For a red copper, a blue dino

For a brown copper, I ended up giving it away because no one was looking for one.

coppers are currently seeing some kind of drought (as i think are cb golds)

so its hard to tell, as people already know they were easier to get in between but are currently not like that.

 

If it helps any, I sold red coppers for 20 common hatchies not too long ago. People still tend to ask for silver/gold swaps, which I find ridiculous - unless you want to overpay to get your scroll goals now. Coppers will eventually end up like blusangs, hard uncommons, but not impossible ones.

 

My not so sophisticated guess is that by June coppers will be on par with trios.
