I hadn't planned on making another cb pairing.. I could, but I wasn't going to. Yup, they'd have to follow the naming scheme! Olympe asked about using non-Pern dragons to progress lineages (it would especially make Holiday dragon based lineages easier) but I would prefer that all dragons in the lineage remain Pern dragons, as dragons are quite inept at blinking over to places they don't know yet If you don't want to create a second copper x gold pairing, you can definitely request eggs from one of the other weyrs. Posted November 2, 2016 I'll see if I run across any red coppers for you BTW the "weyr" line there is if you're requesting an egg from a particular weyr! I'll update the form to better reflect that. It doesn't matter to you what weyr you get the 2g red copper, right? Your request should say (Need a 2nd gen red copper egg or male hatchling from red copper x gold) When I update the request on the front page though, I'll make those changes for you. If you want to request 2nd gen red copper mates or breed the 2nd gens in a stairstep, you can do that and continue the Pern lineages. I think I initially didn't add them b/c I was only adding mated pairs, but now that we are recording single dragons and lineages, I can add them in. All are in Fort Weyr. - To olympe - If you look at Ista's spreadsheet, can you double-check that I have all your Pern dragons in there? - Any idea who owns the dragons that were gifted in this post? They have Pern names but idk who owns them, and they aren't registered. ---------------- Most of my pairings this week didn't breed with any success...EXCEPT this ultimate cutie junior queen over here. It figures when I'm actually hoping for a copper egg to you Cinnamon, I get a gold instead. I will be keeping this queen for Benden and officially announcing her once she is hatched and named. I also managed to get a 3rd gen egg from the Moonstone x Almerald line, but had the egg auto because I was hatchie-locked. Oops.
