The Book of Dc Records

Recommended Posts

@MisunderstoodDreamer - I don't really think either of those records can be confirmed easily. You might be able to take very good records, but unless you have witnesses that have taken the same records there is no positive way for us to confirm. It would be an interesting record if all the dragons raised had been from previous dragons on your scroll. Ultimately it is up to Dc if either of those records are made into an official record.

@Layn - I counted 71

@ewige - I counted 96

@lightningsky - I counted 42

@Kanaye - I counted 41

@mathcat, CatCreature, Pinch of StarDust - I think the person with the counter code can take care of those. My limit is 90 dragons before I start to mess up

indeed, I submitted that record with a bunch of eggs and hatchies waiting to grow up....

@AlternateMew - I didn't even know the heart egg existed...that's a good idea to have those two as trivia eggs. as well as IHOP. I love that little plate of pancakes.

@Kapanikos - ooooh..I didn't know you were away. I have good timing to have said I'll leave those records to you!

So ... back again ... this will be a looooong post smile.gif

Thanks for your warm welcome. smile.gif

Hello peeps!

So what there is to change? Names? Please detail that way I can change them

Well, I wouldn't say that there is something to change, it's just my opinion.

I would call every dragon in our list precisely as it is called in the description, when you click on an adult dragon.

Example:

"Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn't true. Rather, they burrow underground..."

This one is usually called vine dragon (as almost everybody knows), but I'd say we should call it "Dark green dragon", because that's what it is.

So I think we should change:

Alt Vines to Alt Dark green dragon

Blunas to Two-Finned Blunas

Bright-breasted Dragons to Bright-breasted wyverns (they are no dragons)

Glory Drake Dragons to Glory drakes (they are no dragons, too)

Grey dragons are already changed to Gray dragons, thank you smile.gif

Hellfire dragons to Hellfire Wyverns (again, no dragons)

Pygmies to Pygmy dragons

Regular Vine dragon to Dark green dragon (or regular dark ... if you like, even if I would look for D and not for R, when looking for a Dark green dragon)

Orche Drakes to Orchedrakes

Spitfire Dragons to Spitfires

Sunsong Dragons to Sunsong Amphipteres

Nocturnal Dragons to Nocturne dragons

Water Horse dragons to Waterhorse dragons

why are Sunrise/Sunset Dragons mixed up? Even if they hatch of the same egg and are "closely related" they should be separated. They both have a description of their own.

And now, some counting:

I got this email from Misunderstood about the 100 days record, Would SOME of the collabs give me their opinion on this? or as I read along and see what needs updating ill check it out.

After my post in the official thread about "The highest number of dragons raised in 100 days/ a month" records, I send you my dragons' list for your verification. It includes all grown dragons that are now on my scroll with their dates in chronological order, my scroll link is HERE

I signed in DC on 6th July of this year and in 100 days starting from there (last day was 14th October) I raised 100 dragons, counting only dragons catched and grown/frozen before the 15th October. About the month, I raised 35 dragons between 1st Sectember and 30th Sectember, counting only dragons catched from 1st Sectember and raised/frozen before 1st October. If you'd like to consider other record periods (like a week, a year, I don't know) tell me and I'll see if I can propose for them.

Here the list:

This list goes FROM first egg catched on 06th July 2010 TO last dragon grown/hatchie frozen on 14th October 2010

==UPDATING COMPLETED==

@Misunderstood: Thank you for the list of dragons however I personally dont know how to take this record, I dont know if it DOES or DOES NOT count as one. But ill read along the lines of other collabs see what they think...

The way you put it, sounds interesting, and with the list I guess we could arrive to something.

You have proof of it on the scroll so we can just link post to it, and well I just need a colab to validate it and you're done.

@Layn, ewige, Kanaye: Record Updated

@lightningsky: congrats on your new record!

@Mathcat, Catcreature, Kesson: Your record has been updated too!

@Alternate Mew: Thanks for the new trivia records!

@SirHorsey: Record Updated

@Kapanikos and Rest of Helping crew and visitors:

As suggested before the names of dragon breeds and types has been changed. See List bellow.

* Alt Vines to Alt Dark green dragon

* Blunas to Two-Finned Blunas

* Bright-breasted Dragons to Bright-breasted wyverns (they are no dragons)

* Glory Drake Dragons to Glory drakes (they are no dragons, too)

* Grey dragons are already changed to Gray dragons, thank you smile.gif

* Hellfire dragons to Hellfire Wyverns (again, no dragons)

* Pygmies to Pygmy dragons

* Regular Vine dragon to Dark green dragon (or regular dark ... if you like, even if I would look for D and not for R, when looking for a Dark green dragon)

* Orche Drakes to Orchedrakes

* Spitfire Dragons to Spitfires

* Sunsong Dragons to Sunsong Amphipteres

* Nocturnal Dragons to Nocturne dragons

* Water Horse dragons to Waterhorse dragons

* why are Sunrise/Sunset Dragons mixed up? Even if they hatch of the same egg and are "closely related" they should be separated. They both have a description of their own.

P.d Im going to say it underneath anyways: Kapa Do Ice+ lava+ thunder dragons have diff descriptions and they are all under Trio Dragons, So I kinda did the same with sunrise sunset.

@Naughrish: Due to the change od name in sunset sunrise your current record has been parted into two, if you think that your old record should be kept as total (Sunrise/sunset dragons) please let me know ill add it, as there are other records similar to it (Trio tragons inclde ice+thunder+lava being them all or having diff descriptions.)

@Pinch of star dust: record updated with 705 dragons

I'll try and patch the script to check that. This is almost uncheckable by hand...

Oh ... I missed the trios wink.gif

Especially the sunset/sunrise thing was a proposition. That's why I left some space between them and the rest, and I think it is clearly a question.

It's just my opinion, you can do as you like, or maybe another collab or anyone else likes to say a word. If you say you like it like that, then it is that way and that's fine with me.

No Its okay, I changed it anyways. So should we have a mixed sunrise sunset as a mixed trio and then separated?

I dont know if this cualifies as a record but it was suggested some time ago.

Category:Scroll Records-Dragon Records

Title of Record:Scroll with no frozen hatchies

Name of Submitant:Siryuki

Proof for Record: www.dragcave.net/user/siryuki

Reason for submitting new Record:This was suggested some time before in the thread, they mentiones that having over 400 adults and not a single frozen hatchie was a nice thing to look at.

Maybe the record can be acompanied by how many adults one has.

If not a record just tell me. No dilema.

What do the other collabs think of this?

hmm ... I know many scrolls without frozen hatchies. Especially those with dragon count < 10 wink.gif

Maybe if we alter the name of the record to: Scroll with most adult dragons without frozen hatchies.

Edit: Okay ... you wrote that in your last red sentence wink.gif Eyes wide shut biggrin.gif

In your case:

Adults: 430

Adults female: 222

Adults male: 205

Adults ungendered: 3

Hatchlings: 2

unfrozen: 2

Yeah thats kinda what I meant altough I didint have a tittle for it nor a place where to put it at.

I have 2 hatchlings cause they are still growing. Then the record should be submited when no hatchies are actually held?

No, as stated above, 2 of your 2 hatchies are unfrozen. We'll have unfrozen hatchies all the time. They should' not be regarded.

It's fine for me that way ... if it's fine for everybody else, too?

it's fine to me, seems an interesing record... just a question, zombie hatchlings count as frozen, no? >,> because those are auto-frozen...

I want to know too. I have a theory (talking about it here) if it's possible to get more than 5 zombies. If it works, that would lead to having a bunch of zombie hatchies. If someone manages to get more than 5 zombies including hatchies, would you consider it a record?

I can beat this, eventuelly, new record, but I'm sure, I'm not the only one wink.gif

I'd say a frozen hatchie is a hatchie that has the ice crystal behind it. Autofrozen or not.

And for the counting of zombies ... we usually count the adults, no hatchies.

Final decision is up to dc records.

Breeder with the most Spitfires Dragons:

Shouldn't it be Spitfire Dragons or Spitfires?

I like to have a record for raised dragons in a certain time, say 100 days, but only for Adults!

First, we are counting only adults here.

Second, I guess it isn't so difficult to freeze hatchlings, so I think, they'ld be excluded from this record.

Third, Many people, including me, don't like, that hatchlings are frozen and certainly not just for getting a record.

But of course, it is just my 2 cents wink.gif
