Maybe it's just me, but I like to name dragons just like they are called in the third column of the dragon description. I just think it leaves less space for misunderstanding.

And ... call me lazy ... but I need to give my counting script the exact name of the dragon, otherwise the result would be like this:

Adult males: 0

 

After that I had to take a look at a spitfire, just to find out, that the description says: Spitfires ... and not Spitfire dragon. Computers are even more picky than I am

 

@Zelderax: Your's was fine, just like the small discussion about "Green dragons". I thought your description was quite clear, others were confused (Pebble? Vine? Mint? Frill?). But as written in the official description a green dragon is a green dragon. Clear enough for me.

Didn't want to offend you. You've just been the last example I had in mind.

 

In your case I made cut n paste to look for "Spitfire dragons" instead of looking for "Spifires" (without dragons).

@Saartje: Weird that one of the collabs didint reply, but clicks cant be counted due to the fact that you can post your dragon a lot in different places or even you click them and earn those points. It must be something that you cant control like Unique Views. Im sure it was explained earlier in the thread.

Hoarding?? I just pick another egg when the previous hatches. I play in this way, I don't like to be uselessy scroll-free. I'll explain you how this records' idea cames to me. I was just considering that I have +100 dragons yet, so I counted from how many days I'm in DC and I thought "Wow, this can be a record", I came here and no one has it. I have proposed these, but the responsibles of this thread are free to refuse me. I've taked note of the dates (they are also in dragons' page) and sended them to responsibles with a PM. I repeat myself, I'm not forcing anyone as I don't decide nothing . And it can be that there is another user that has more draggise than me in 100 days!

The record for most rares bred in a month is only 6 golds. That seems low, after only a quick check I found that I bred 14 golds still on my scroll from parents still on my scroll, in the month of January, 2009. That doesn't count golds that I may have abandoned. I may have more other months, just haven't checked.

 

All of these dragons were laid within January 2009 from parents I still have on my scroll. Some grew up outside of that month, but all were laid/created in January.

Second, I didn't see a record for the most gold dragons, just Caveborn ones. Nothing but the golds and silvers were origin specific, though. (I don't think I hold this record, anyhow.)

 

The record of rare eggs in a month is about eggs from ONE dragon parent as far as I know.

 

And for the non-CB golds you have to look further down in the list:

Yes, it was about efficiency and dragon caring especially, you understood exactly what I meant . It's easy pick an egg, put it in an hatchery or two and "forget it" until it grows and beyond, as many users doesn't like to name their dragons. I don't want be offensive with this, but personally I don't like to play in this way.

 

I'll wait with you what the responsibles of this thread will decide.

@MisunderstoodDreamer - I don't really think either of those records can be confirmed easily. You might be able to take very good records, but unless you have witnesses that have taken the same records there is no positive way for us to confirm. It would be an interesting record if all the dragons raised had been from previous dragons on your scroll. Ultimately it is up to Dc if either of those records are made into an official record.

@Kanaye - I counted 41

 

@mathcat, CatCreature, Pinch of StarDust - I think the person with the counter code can take care of those. My limit is 90 dragons before I start to mess up
