it needs at least one more view to crack open, so if it's not in any hatcheries it won't hatch on its own even unfogged. In that case tho, the person probably added it way too early, bc sun eggs can only hatch from 6-12 am or pm

Huh, I did not know that. I though as long as the time said it was day it would hatch Sunrise and if it said night it would hatch Sunset.

Sunrise/Sunset eggs only hatch 6am-12pm and 6pm-12am. They will not hatch at any other time.
