Posted January 30 I wonder if it's down to the size of your screen. They're all 3 lines on my laptop. I would have thought that any name that extends to all of the allowed characters (35?) would spread over 3 lines. Share this post Link to post

It isn't apparently determined by word or character count, so I don't at all know how it works. Posted January 30 So for where the 3 line name question came from - I noticed the same thing zippuzzle did which is that not all names with the same number of characters took up the same amount of space (some were two lines where others were three). I am usually on mobile, for reference. I wanted a bingo prompt that was difficult as well as being equally difficult for newbies vs experienced players. That being said, I will check those answers on my laptop with multiple browsers (not sure if it makes a difference but now I want to know) as well as on my phone. If I find one that only shows up as 2 lines then I will reach out for a screenshot from the participant based on what their computer/phone/tablet shows. Share this post Link to post

ETA - good point; I just used another browser (Pale Moon) and they are all three lines. In Opera - several aren't. So.....# Here's one: Opera vs Pale Moon OH - and furthermore - in Brave - when I am logged IN it's two lines; when I'm NOT, it's 3. So maybe also the skin (I use St Pat's.) Posted January 30 Nah, I'm keeping the prompt as is for now. Like I said before, I will ask the user how it shows up for them if I dont see it as 3 lines in either mobile or desktop (using the default skin). I am betting it primarily has to do with the font. Certain letters take up more space than others (M is bigger than I, for example) which can greatly impact spacing. Share this post Link to post
