Over the week I had been planning to massbreed my Crypt * Quonebb hoard eventually, but never remembered to until around half an hour till the end of Halloween. I thought they would arrive as a nice treat just around the end of the wall, and never would have guessed they'd get caught up in this chaos.

 

Of the 171 Crypts I bred, only 20 survived. F for the fallen.

 

 

(Oh also, if you found offspring of mine, feel free to post their lineages! I don't mind.)

My dead eggs and first and only neglected who turned out to be a 2G prizekin. RIP eggies. I was playing all day, grabbing and freezing marrows, then grabbing and hatching as many eggs as I could, to shovel them back into the AP. It was wild. Then the hatchling wall came, and I was able to speedrun turning quite a few low time hatchlings into adults. The hatchling wall lasted at least, 8 hours or more? I don't know the exact times.

I was on and off throughout the day, in the last 2 hours or so I did a lot of grabbing and stuffing in fansites (and when the lag permitted, abandoning hatchlings and grabbing new eggs), and (from my action log) in the last 2 hours I abandoned 63 hatchlings. But, with 8 egg slots, I also got a lot of dead eggs (77, if I counted correctly) - which was enough to cause me to invest in a custom sort so I don't have to scroll through all the dead eggs to see my current growing dragons until the dead eggs disappear.

The hatchling wall ended about 2pm. So, from 11pm (when all the eggs died) to 2pm the next day would be a 15 hour hatchling wall.

I came back to activity on the site right in time for halloween and the moment the AP wall started hitting 5 days I started hatching eggs just to drop the hatchlings back to the AP. I missed out on the actual final deaths though because I had to go to bed when the AP wall was still at a couple of hours. But in the days before I hatched quite a few eggs, and especially on the last day I did as many as I could manage.

Good job to those who stayed until the very end!

I thankfully only ended up with one dead egg, I made sure I saved/hatched as many low-time eggs as possible, stopped grabbing them once I saw a bunch of dead eggs in AoND and had one that didn't make it even though I put it in two sites, an Iridichi too  it's too bad there isn't a way to see more than one page of AP eggs if they have low enough egg time.

On the plus side, at least 4 eggs in the four progeny I checked did survived and has grown into neat adults! Congrats on avoiding the death fate lol (haven't found any neglected in my batch yet
