For the record - as the OP, I don't care any more; I will live with it. I thought it might be easily fixable, but...

That's bizarre then. Maybe just run a bit of javascript after the page loads and set the value of the filter box to empty.

For troubleshooting purposes:

 

I’m using default theme, Safari on iPad (iPadOS) and it doesn’t autofill or autocomplete. Field is left blank.

 

I tried Chrome on iPad, default theme. The field was blank, no auto fill or auto complete.

 

Also tried Firefix on iPad, default theme. Field was blank. 
 

I can’t speak to my phone or desktop because I didn’t try them.

I tried just now on iOS Home Screen / unmodified Safari. No autofill.

I just tested out a few more application/device (password is always saved):

 

desktop safari, no autofill

desktop chrome, autofill

phone safari, no autofill

phone chrome, no autofill

 

It's just desktop chrome for me then

It works if I type stuff in manually. My point was exactly that I always need to manually input/delete something from the input box for it to work correctly, the x was apparently not doing what it's supposed to do

So I'm digging this up because for some miraculous reason, it stopped doing that for me even on chrome! I have not changed any settings (autofill, password saved) but now when I'm on fertility page my username and password is not auto entered into the boxes. I'm still using chrome. I'm curious about if it also changed for any of the other people experiencing the same problem!

Chiming in to say it's also been fixed for me! No issues on PC or mobile. ^.=.^
