Oh! I didn't realise that they would glow when you had the right combination. I thought it was just as you were dragging to sliders and getting close to the right amounts. Although this would still require a lot of trial and error for all the 3 element combinations as there is no list of spells provided in the event, so logic can't be used. Again, you'll have to go to a guide if you don't want to waste time which I feel is poorly designed.

@DehydratedWater It glows stronger closer to the right combination, and weaker further from the right combination. But it doesn't glow at all for equal proportions of a combination that gives no spells.

Personally, I had a lot of fun guessing at spells, and then going through all the combinations to find the ones I missed, getting excited when I got a glowy one and could fiddle around with the sliders to see what spell it made. I can see how it would be frustrating to some, though. But I enjoyed making the spells.

yeah same, i think i've tried all the spells that have been discovered so far. only got

This game is frustrating. I have a Windows box, use Chrome as my browser, and Blackout as the scroll site scheme (not changing that because I would not be able to get it back). I found a spell, but the word CAST doesn't show anywhere to click on. Please help.

huh, I guess that was added later on because I started trying to test combos of 3 elements and that would be the first one I tried to test. I definitely remember that it didn't glow.

You should make a help thread. TJ, the game's creator, might be the only one who could help.

 

Has Blackout worked well with interactives like this in the past? I know it's not updated anymore, could the game not have been tested on that skin?

 

Also if you have a smartphone, have you tried seeing if it behaves itself on mobile?

I found a help thread, but thank you for the suggestion.  

 

I haven't had any issues in the past that I remember.

 

The bf just got a new smartphone, but is rather busy and hasn't had a lot of time to get things going w/ it. My phone was lost/stolen. I hear that a number of folks are having issues w/ the game on their cell phones.

I did a flower spell. Still no CAST button. I just clicked around the inside, until the cursor changed and the spell worked. I now have the book symbol.
