Posted January 12, 2021 I haven't been reading much lately but I'm trying to get back into it. At least I can catch up on recording what I have read... Book Number: 4 Number Of Pages: 640 Book Title: Skeleton Crew Author: Stephen King Summary: A collection of short stories and the novella "The Mist." Following a strange storm, a mist envelops a small Maine town while David and his young son Billy are at the local grocery store. Everyone in the store finds themselves trapped as they realize that deadly threats lurk within the mist. Review: So many of these were great, especially in the first half. Favorites include: The Mist, Mrs. Todd's Shortcut, The Jaunt, and The Raft. Book Number: 5 Number Of Pages: 518 Book Title: Solutions and Other Problems Author: Allie Brosh Summary: A series of illustrated, generally autobiographical, usually humorous (but sometimes heartbreaking) short stories. Arguably a comic book? From the author of Hyperbole and a Half. Review: This book actually made me want to both laugh and cry (at different times). Kosemen, Darren Naish Summary: A look at how artists have been reconstructing prehistoric creatures, and the limits of learning about appearance and behavior from fossils. Review: A neat book, although not the big beautiful coffee table book I thought it would be. It was printed to order, paperback, and contains a few typos, but the art alone is still worth it. Do an image search for "All Yesterdays" if you want to see some of the illustrations. Share this post Link to post
