What is the longest lineage on your scroll?

Recommended Posts

I searched multiple keywords and didn't find a similar topic, please direct me to one if there is!

I'm currently going through my 'messy lineage' group to find how many lineages I have that are 20 generations or longer. Turns out, quite a few! But most are in the 20-26 generation range, very few higher then 30. So I was surprised to find this guy who is 45 generations long! It's not even *that* messy of a lineage, at least not by my standards, but whoa that generation count! I'm impressed.

So what about you? Do you know what the longest lineage on your scroll is? Or do you just have an impressively long lineage that you want to show off?

After looking through my group of messy dragons, I think this might be the longest, with 27 generations...

Also, all of the generations don't show anymore, only 12? I had no idea... :huh:

@Aqub The lineage page only displays 12 generations. From there you can still see the lineage of individual dragons that go back farther, but you won't be able to see them all together. Go to the dragons in the 16th generation of your lineage and click on each of them to see how far back their lineages go. At least one of them will continue past even that new generation page in order to get to 27 generations.

I think this Red dragon is the longest messy lineage I have on my scroll. When you look at his lineage page, there is a Stone dragon with the code (gbLx) on the far right. If you click on him and look at his lineage, you will see that he is a 14th gen. The Purple dragon with the code (WpHW) on the right is not caveborn and if you click on her lineage you will find the farthest ancestors of the Red we started with. It can be fun to trace back all the branches of a lineage like that one and see what is hiding there.

Mine aren't messy and something you wouldn't consider long but this one is still the longest I have on my scroll :o a 6G checker with Pumpkins I found on the AP a few days before the Halloween event ❤️

I'd say that's impressive by pygmy-standards! Don't often see long even-gens with pygmies (at least I don't).

This is my longest lineage. All bred by me and all dragons on my scroll: https://dragcave.net/lineage/q5puJ

Omg I'm in love with the inbreeding on that one! *That* is how deliberate inbreeding can be so beautiful!

@HeatherMarie

It was actually my laziness - how do I manage to get as many BSA Purples and Magis as I needed without having to catch them from the Cave XD

@Astreya

Funny, I also got to 19 with the same method: https://dragcave.net/lineage/Ty12l :D

So far, my longest messy seems to be 22: https://dragcave.net/lineage/sVR3

I'm still checking though XD I'm still in the "Location: Cave" era of my scroll.

edit: a little bit further, this one isn't the longest, but if I recall correctly I kept it for the names: https://dragcave.net/lineage/dsusN XD

edit edit: 23! https://dragcave.net/lineage/kjpCE

and 25! https://dragcave.net/lineage/bM6tZ

(named after I saw that some of its offspring had been named "deadline fodder" and somesuch)

Hoo boy...

Long and not inbred: This little eggo somehow is 18th gen and has no inbreeding (it's even part Thuwed)!

Long and inbred: This 31st gen monstrosity is a big old mess that has 113 instances of inbreeding.

but oh good lord, even though this one is only 14th gen, there are no words for this one

Here's one for you.  A purebred stairstep at 35 generations. clh3n  From what I was told the breeder of that line was somewhat famous for the lineage years ago and unfortunately they went inactive during the time frame names were erased for inactivity.  So I've never seen what it looked like when they all had names. :(

I might have a dragon with a longer lineage but I'm not going to search all 400+ of my frozen hatchlings to see. :P
