I can add long dead dragons to groups?

Hello

 

Came back after an almost 2 to 3 year break and was suprised over all the changes made here!

Especially about the 'Groups' options and went straight to do some, while adding dragons i noticed more tombstones than i should have.

Overall, i own one Zombiedragon called 'Regis Licker' (see signature) but found 2 additional tombstones from long long dead dragons of my zombie attemps.

They are haunting my 'Add Dragons' page everytime Kinda cool but i think it shouldnt be right?

 

EDIT: I could have named the topic 'I see dead dragons' but i guessed it wouldnt be that helpful. heh.

I've noticed this too. It evens includes eggs that were abandoned and later died, and it really clutters things.

Yeah, the "add dragons" dialog is not (yet) coded to ignore dragons that are technically still associated with your scroll, but otherwise invisible for you, such as dead dragons beyond the 2-weeks mark, and abandoned eggs that haven't been picked up by anyone else yet.

Ah okay, so it still needs a bugfix, okay, at least i know that it is really a mistake and not some undead that want to end me

Every time someone posts about this, I think "nooooo, don't tell TJ, he'll take away my ghosts!" 

 

Anyway, since it's been months since it was first pointed out, I suppose he's aware of it already, but either didn't have the time or doesn't want to change it. I just wish I knew which one it is. 

I like being able to keep my failed zombies (aka ghosts) in a group even when they're not on my scroll anymore. If this is a bug, I'm against fixing it.

Yeah, I kind of like this, actually. I was thinking of making a graveyard group for them all. Maybe I'm weird.

There should be an option if you want killed Dragons to haunt you or to truely stay invisible at least, thats would make everyone happy.

It's worse than just that. Even expunged zombies show up in groups. (I would know. Don't ask.)

 

ETA: It seems like it's impossible to add eggs that you abandoned to die in the AP to your groups. (I just tried.)

What I have found is that if you open the GROUP,  click the "add to group" on each dead dragon, and uncheck the box, they go 'way. I just tested with my zyus and none of the deads I tried to zombify are there any more.

 

ETA it can even be done by just going to the deadie's page and doing the group thing there (Just created a WHOLE GROUP to test that !)

Nah, once you go back to 'add dragons' in any group, they will be back.

Tried that 3 times, they will still show up as dragons you can add to groups, they are not gone. I had my dead dragons in like 3 different groups, kicked them out and after i was done i created a new one just for those two and my zombie.

Odd. Because none of the ones I told to go way have come back.

This should be fixed. Existing dead dragons should disappear from groups soon, bringing groups in line with the other dragon lists.
