Posted June 11, 2019 (edited) Aww, sorry for your loss. But that's cool that you've had the whole family of birds over the years. Bird toppage, page 756. b) Edited June 11, 2019 by Lagie Toppage! Share this post Link to post
Posted June 11, 2019 Aw... that's so sad. Speaking of birds... I have to get allergy meds. I have to pet sit for someone next week and they have chickens Share this post Link to post
Posted June 11, 2019 Chickens? That's a new one. I have yet to pet sit chickens. I take allergy meds to be able to stay at this house with the cat. Share this post Link to post
Posted June 11, 2019 Yup, Chickens. There are other pets as well. But I have a bit of a bird allergy. Hopefully I will survive Apparently the lady said I can eat the eggs that they lay... But thats a bit to real for me. (Said the person who goes hunting) Share this post Link to post
Posted June 11, 2019 I thought you didn't eat eggs? My first house sit had two dogs, four cats, and a horse. One house had four different parakeets and two dogs; I think that's the most exotic combo I've had. Share this post Link to post
Posted June 11, 2019 Maybe just take the eggs in to your co-workers, rather than letting them go to waste or messing with you! Share this post Link to post
Posted June 11, 2019 I will see how things go. Might make some muffins of flapjacks Share this post Link to post
Posted June 11, 2019 I make them very well. My friends love them for breakfast. Share this post Link to post

Posted June 11, 2019 So are eggs baked okay, or still allergic? I only encountered that my skin reacts badly to a plaster, so the glue from that after too long on my skin and i get itchy and i knew i once scratched so hard until i had a new wound where the glue was... So sensitive and for a short time not 24 hours, that would be bad. I am always amazed if peole let that sit there for days. Oh the others birds are buried in the garden of a friend of my mother. I had a rib tape on for less than 24 hours. Non-latex, so I thought it would be fine. It wasn't. We peeled it off and the wound it created looked like a bite mark and took over a week to heal! I didn't even realize I was allergic to the stuff till then. Allergies are scary stuff! P. S. Photo Contest - Go. Vote. Even if it's not for me! Well I'm mostly allergic to the rawness. I have to cook them till they get bouncy hard and then its fine. But when they giggle a bit then I do get an itch in my throat. Even when I prepare chicken for dinner, I get little bumps on my hands. Good morning everyone! Share this post Link to post
