Snakes are lovely, though I do know a few people who are frightened witless by them. If you don't harm them, it's more than likely that they will not harm you! Cobras are my favorites. And there were these green ones too, I forgot their name.

Vine snakes? That's the only green one that I can think of.

Some other green snakes include rough and smooth grass snakes, emerald tree boas, green tree pythons, green anacondas, white lipped pit vipers, and rhino rat snakes.

Well, I'm Australian too, and I like snakes. So that's not a definite indicator.

 

I've never seen one in the wild though, only lizards.

Some pictures of them are cute(like the one in the first post) but I don't really want them near me.
