Posted June 21, 2015 (edited) Oh no, someone bred a Galaxy dragon to a messy lineaged magma D: I'm guessing the Galaxy dragon was accidentally abandoned or something, because nobody in this line owns "2nd Galaxia Nebula" I think...and its a descendant of Zeus x Hera too D: Well, in the very least, the offspring of them was a nebula so yeah. Rule change: You may NOT abandon Galaxy eggs on purpose! Accidental releases will be overlooked but please double check before breeding. Posted June 21, 2015 I understand that the lineage requires purebred Nebula dragons, and that a Nebula produced by a Galaxy x Non-Nebula pairing will be disqualified by its cross-breed parent from being part of the Galaxy lineage. However, does the act of breeding a Galaxy Nebula with non-Nebulas also disqualify the Galaxy parent from later producing otherwise valid Galaxy lineage offspring once I find another Nebula dragon? If it does, I have a Magi so I can put the little egg back up for someone who has the means to purebreed it sooner if you'd prefer. Share this post Link to post

Posted June 21, 2015 The Galaxy nebula is still considered part of the lineage, but if it breeds with a non-nebula, the resulting offspring is not considered part of the line (regardless on what breed the egg is). However, if the same Galaxy dragon bred with another nebula then the offspring is considered part of this line. Share this post Link to post

If I had to guess, I would say that the person who got the magma/nebula cross didn't realize the name 'Galaxy' was part of a breeding line with an active thread over here on the forums. I know when I get an egg from the AP that is lineaged and I am having trouble with a name, I will look to the parents and either use their surname or make a unique name from a combination of their two names. So perhaps this is the case here. The person who got the cross saw the galaxy part of the name, liked it and wanted to acknowledge the one who bred the egg. Share this post Link to post
