Leetle Tree Seasonal Flavor Text

Recommended Posts

My pretty Leetle Tree has finally turned to spring, and I thought it would be cool if its description could have a small flavor text that changed with the season's sprite. The additional text would not display in the cave, so as to not make the description overly long for hunters.

While it's definitely not necessary, I thought it was a cute concept, and I don't see why anyone would have problems with it.

Do you have any Leetle Tree flavor text suggestions?

It's a cute idea - and does no harm if it was to be added.

Though I could see the additional text causing issues with how they are displayed on the Cave pages when people are hunting (as it stands, they just show up with their description of;

"Oh my. There is a Leetle Tree among the eggs."

I could see the adding of extra text causing a bit of confusion as some players might think it's a new Leetle Tree they can pick up, even if they already have one.

Perhaps - have the additional text only show once the Tree is on someone's scroll (like a description)?

So it would have the basic "Oh my. There is a Leetle Tree among the eggs." - then a further description like a hatchling:

"Oh my. There is a Leetle Tree among the eggs. And look! It has snow on its branches, it must be Winter..."

Xmas: "Whenever you go near it, you feel full of holiday cheer".

Winter: "Snow is gently resting on its branches".

VDay: "It radiates love and kindness".

Spring: "Flowers are blooming on every branch".

April Fools: "It looks strangely like broccoli" tongue.gif

Earth Day: "The tree's foliage has dramatically increased today."

Summer: "It seems to manage with little water, despite the heat."

Autumn: "The leaves have all become a beautiful shade of red".

Halloween: "It hides in the darkness, and can only be seen when the full moon shines on it."

Those are my ideas.

This sounds like a cute idea but like ShoraNagi said, I think it should be on the Leetle Tree's page only and leave the Cave description as it is to keep the page neater and to avoid confusion.

What I'd love to see as the April Fools description is: "Oh my. There is a little broccoli among the carrot sprouts!" xd.png

I would like that, knowing I can't describe my Leetlee, it needs some more text on its page.

I vote for this one as the flavor text for the April Fools tree.

However cute this might be, I would never see it since I have no reason to go to my leetle tree's view page. And like others I am against having the extra text show in the biomes. So it seems pretty pointless to me.

The text would not show in the biomes, as I agree that it would make it far too long. If there's no reason to have it, I guess there's no reason not to have it either. That's why it's flavor text, just to make the game a little bit more interesting. If you don't go to your Leetle's page, this shouldn't make much of a difference if it ever gets implemented.

Simple yet brilliant.

As long as there is a way to make it only appear this way on the "view/" page, I'm all for it.

This sums up my thoughts. I'm not against it, but I don't put it as a priority. ^^;;
