"Ah!" Lisa shrieked. Unprepared for the small pokemon to try hugging her, she lost her balance. Her arms flailed around in the air for a second, but the pokemon clutching her legs prevented her from regaining her balance. She fell to the ground, laughing. She hadn't expected the pokemon to be so enthusiastic and friendly! "Here you go," she said, handing the oran berry to the Charmander. It was very cute, much more so than the ugly fish that sat nearby.

 

"Feeb," the fish said dully.

 

Perhaps the Feebas could evolve later. It had at least attempted to use Tackle, hadn't it? Maybe it was just learning. Having two usable pokemon would be helpful, because Charmander was obviously just a baby. He wouldn't be very strong in battle, even if he was adorable. She had no idea how Feeble would be able to evolve, though; most pokemon evolved through time and getting stronger, but others needed evolutionary stones or other things. If it did require an evolutionary stone, then she wouldn't easily be able to get one. Team Rocket had taken them all, and they weren't exactly legal to own. Their only use was evolving pokemon, and if someone did manage to have a pokemon then Team Rocket didn't want them to be getting stronger.

 

In any case, Lisa didn't want to pay much attention to the Feebas right now. "I'm just going to put you into this pokeball, okay?" she said, picking up the pokeball from where it had fallen. In a flash of red light, the Charmander turned into energy and was enclosed inside the pokeball. The pokeball began to shake. I hope that this works...

Aureus fell down and then stood up, quickly running to Lotus's side, ready to help. Lotus, however, frowned. She took her hat off, dumping water out of it, and put it back on. She didn't really mind being wet; She was worried about the egg. Lotus walked over to Poliwag, Safe and Aureus following. Carefully, she picked Poliwag up and put it on it's feet. Sorry. You just startled me. She paused. ...If it makes you feel better, you can attack me again...

"Oooof" Your a little heavy." Gwin said, as the pokemon rubbed on her. It seemed to be even tempered.

 

The Aron decided, it liked this human. It would like to have a friend....

 

"Wag!" It said wagging its... tail at her. Who knew what it was doing. It was displaced from its pond, and in a strange cave.

Lotus smiled at the Poliwag. It was so cute. Safe noticed her reaction and was slightly jealous. He rubbed against her legs and she smiled, scratching Safe behind the ears. Is someone jealous? Safe paused. Lotus took that as a yes and chuckled slightly.

Aureus was now bored of this and went over to Kaze.

Kaze wrapped the cat... again. Gwin was scratching the Aaron, "hey, would you like to come with me"? She held out the pokeball. Sin smiled, Aron was a slow growing Pokemon but quite sturdy.

 

The heavy Pokemon leapt at the pokeball, and was captured.

The tadpole sneezed, and drenched the trainer with water again!

 

As the trainer walks around, her food nudges something on the ground. It is a bag, with items inside.

Zoey picked up the Pokeball highly interested. "Well this is a surprise," she said as Bubbles landed next to her. He looked curiously at the Pokeball, wondering what significance it held. "Fraok?" Bubbles asked, tilting its head. It didn't nearly look spetacular as her Pokeball. "Now we can get another member to our little team," Zoey said, standing back up right as she put away the potion. That would also come in handy. "Let's go get some training done." "Froakie!" Bubbles said determainly.

The bush next to the frog was not a bush. It was a Tangla! It grabbed the pokemon, and squeezed it tight!

"Bubbles!" Zoey said in alarm. "Use Pound!" Bubbles nodded as it tried to use its Pound attack against the Tangla

The tangla gasped, and let go of the struggling Pokemon. It stepped back, preparing to attack again.

[Moonlight_Eevee]

"Growl!" Zoey commanded. Bubbles let out a shout before inhaling and letting loose two to three bubbles.

The Pokemon cowered, then shook itself. It ran at the frog, reaching out with its vines to constrict it.

[Moonlight_Eevee]

"Pound once again!" Zoey commanded her shiny frog. Bubbles nodded before racing foward and attacking the Tangla.

The grass type took damage. It wrapped the frog and fell with it!

[Moonlight_Eevee]

"Try to use that bubble attack!" Zoey ordered. Bubbles nodded before sucking in breath before releasing four bubbles this time.

 

Theo stood at the entrence of Viridian Forest with still no sign of his sister. Howelr, as he decided to name his Growlithe, stood next to him. His ears twitched, hearing the various sounds in the forest. "Let's go," Theo said, before stepping into Viridian Forest.

[Kiran]

"Yes!" Lisa exclaimed when she saw that the capture was successful. Her very own pokemon! She had had Feeble before, but this seemed more... real. Feeble had just been given to her, and he seemed pretty useless so far. Charmander had been captured, and she hadn't even weakened him first. She had just offered him food, and then he allowed himself to be captured. Would it always be that easy? Probably not, but she could do it. Maybe she could stop Team Rocket as well.

 

What? No. That was a crazy idea. Team Rocket was huge and spread out across the regions. Perhaps she could annoy them, but even that wasn't likely to happen. For now, it would be best if she just stuck to not being captured. Her Charmander was adorable, and maybe Feeble wasn't so bad (even if he was extremely ugly).

 

"Feeb," the fish said dully.

 

With a bit of concern, Lisa stepped over to him. She picked him up- he was pretty heavy, actually- and checked him for any wounds or injuries from crashing into the ground. She couldn't find any, and decided that he was probably fine, if a bit bruised. Maybe she could try ordering him to use Tackle again. If he failed again, well, she would have to find some way of making him evolve before she used him in battle. "Feeble, Tackle!" she said, pointing to the tree again.

 

As he had before, Feebas leaped into the air towards the tree. Instead of hitting it or crashing to the ground in a spray of gravel, he missed by about two feet. He was doing better, at least, so he probably could learn. While Feeble was resting from his attack, Lisa sent Char (that would be his new nickname; why not?) out of his pokeball.

 

"Char!" he said, excited to see her. He picked up the oran berry that had dropped to the ground and took a large bite out of it. He seemed to like the berry. The Charmander waddled over to Feeble and handed him the rest of the berry. "Char?" Feeble took the berry and chewed it slowly.

 

Lisa smiled, happy to see her pokemon getting along so well. Char liked Feeble, at least; Feeble didn't seem to react to anything much except commands. "Char, use Tackle!" she said, pointing at the tree.

 

Char stared at her blankly.

 

Okay, so Charmander couldn't learn Tackle. "Pound? Scratch?"

 

With the last command, Char ran at the tree. His claws glowed white, and he slashed at the bark of the tree. White trails of light followed his claws, and deep slash marks were left in the bark of the tree.

The grass type let go, its vines hanging limply. It was obviously wearing out. As a last ditch effort, it used ingrain, trying to regain health.

"Use Pound, one last time!" Zoey said. The frog leapt up, obviously getting tired before smacking the Tangla.

The plant Pokémon is uprooted, and falls over. All of its vines are limp. A powder shimmers in the air, and you feel drowsy.

[Moonlight_Eevee]

Zoey threw the Pokeball in an effort to try to capture the Tangla. Granted it wasn't a dark type, it was still something and she wasn't going to be picky. She kneeled down, feeling the drowsiness hit her hard. She had to capture it! Bubbles was fast asleep as it inhaled most of the powder.

There was that same hollow watery sound that reminded her of a staryu. It was absorbed instantly by the thick tree bark and died against thick curtains of plush summertime leaves. The surroundings were dark and green and the light above was tinted lime by the canopy. For now it was just her alone atop reddish forest mulch and podzol. So far she didn't see any pokemon, though they may have been lingering at the edges of the clearing. It was muggy on the ground. Cooler surely that being out in the sun, but the dews and other various vapors rose up to the leaves above and were forced back down by the thick roof in a sort of miniature greenhouse gas effect. After a moment, her the ralts emerged. It looked just as innocent as yesterday, staring up at her from under the green crest on its head. She could just barely make out the crimson color of its eyes. She stared at it and it stared right back.

 

She crouched, her face intense as she tried to bore, rather unsuccessfully, into the little creature's mind "So, why exactly did that lady give your pokeball to me?" there was a moment of silence as it slowly cocked its head 'raaaal?' she pursed her lips. "Don't give me any of that. I know you know why." she stuck her finger out, poking the pokemon square in its chest. However, it didn't seem at all phazed and just continued to look at her, evaluating, plotting, predicting her next move. She could tell that it wasn't going to give up its secrets easily. "Well, whatever the reason, I'm not going to keep you. I'm not going to play some... Game concocted by what must assuredly be the very heart of evil!" Her blue eyes narrowed. "Who is your master and what do they want?" the little pokemon made a slight humming noise, but it was no answer.

[Nanashi]

Aureus muttered something under her breath, but didn't struggle.

Lotus let out a faint sigh as Safe darted away, shaking his fur and turning himself into a puffball in the process. Safe suddenly had an idea and opened her bag, earning a faint glare from his trainer, and pulled out the Heal Ball. He rolled it in front of the Poliwag, then closed his trainer's bag and moved back. It was an offer.

Zoey stared at the Pokeball. She had caught a Tangla! Well, that was a surprise. She got up, feeling the sleeping powder disperse. She breathed a sigh of breath before picking up the Pokeball. She returned Bubbles for now seeing as the frog was still asleep. "Welcome to the team," she said to the Pokeball.

 

Theo gave Howler a bracelet of Zoey's to help him track her down. "Find her," he said as Howler sniffed the bracelet before going sniffing the ground to find any trace of the human he was tracking.

Gwin smiled, and let the Aaron out. "I will call you Nora little one". Nora happaly jumped back in her lap. Owww. Kaze seemed happy the feline was letting him hug her and made a strange rumbling sound.

 

Sin gave a slight smile. He closed his eyes and they opened glowing purple. A slash mark appeared... right by Gwin, on the wrong side of the cave.

 

 

 

 

The tadpole was curious, but afraid of the strange object and hid behind the trainer.

Safe let out a evil chuckle. Kind of. It sounded weird. Lotus shook her head, but did nothing to stop him. Safe rolled the Pokeball towards the Poliwag again.

 

Aureus did nothing.
