Breeding with Holiday Dragons

I usually mate dragons, so there's only so many holidays I have for breeding with. However, I do have to say that it's easier breeding anything with holidays since you'll always get the other breed. Shimmers aren't worth much to me anyway, but since people don't take holiday-lined I don't often either. It's a vicious cycle. Eh.

Doesn't really bother me. Some holiday pairings look amazing, and it's often easier to use a holiday mate if you want a certain egg from breeding.

 

But I can see why, for this reason, people don't like them in lineages because it is rare to find, say, a Gold from a common mate among all of the holiday pairings. Me, as long as the colors compliment each other and it isn't messy-lined, a holiday pairing is as good as a common pairing.
