To complicate matters, the lawkeepers of Karse’s hereditary enemy nation of Valdemar all possessed such powers. But when his power is discovered, he is saved by the creature he thought was his new horse, instead one of the legendary Companions of Valdemar, and brought north to a new country and new home, to become one of valdemar’s lawkeepers, the Heralds. Although he grew to care for his new land, he still cared for his country of origin. When war broke out between Valdemar and Karse, he had to walk a careful line in order to serve the best interest of both his former people and his new.

Book Title: 50 shades of grey

Author: E L James

Summary: It's about Anastasia and Christian who fall in love. Twisted love. With a lot of boundaries and crazy stuff.

Review: It's a love story. No matter what everyone is saying, for me this is a love story. I've read a lot of articles about this book and to be honest I was shocked and revolted. But my best friend gave it to me for my birthday and I had to read it. And couldn't stop reading it - read it in 6 hours. It's that good. There were moments when I stopped and couldn't read anymore because it was that twisted and abnormal and gross and embarrassing, but I just couldn't leave it. I can't make a summary because I've tried to tell what it is about to my friends so they can read it too, but every attempt is miserable and not expressing that something that makes you continue reading and wanting more. I can tell only one thing - read it, you won't regret it.

His first owner there was a kind and careful man, but the second overworked him until he collapsed in his harness. Book Title: The Secret

Author: Beverly Lewis

Summary: Christian fiction. Grace Byler’s mother has been acting oddly recently. She’s been depressed, and Grace has heard her weeping in the night. One night, her mother warns Grace against marrying a man who will not share his feelings, leading Grace to suspect trouble in her parents’ marriage, a suspicion that seems confirmed when her mother hires their customary driver to take her away before dawn the day after Grace’s birthday. Grace is forced to rethink her engagement to her beau, as well as becoming determined to find out just what drove her mother to leave… an unthinkable act in the Amish community. She is sure her grandparents know more than they are telling, but they seem determined to keep her from discovering whatever secrets they are hiding. Meanwhile, an Englisher named Heather comes to stay with Grace’s neighbors who operate a B&B in their home after receiving a devastating medical diagnosis, and opts to try a naturopathic approach to her illness instead of conventional treatment.

Book Title: The Telling

Author: Beverly Lewis

Summary: Christian fiction. Grace and Heather miss finding Grace’s mother, but when her mother unexpectedly bumps into a neighbor visiting a relative, she makes the decision to return home and confess the reason for her journey: she wanted to find the child she’d born out of wedlock that her parents forced her to give up for adoption; a child that neither her husband nor other children had known about. Her journey had given her the information that she’d had a daughter, and that she could fill out a form with the state to allow that daughter to contact her if the daughter chose to search for her birth mother. Meanwhile Heather goes through her initial treatment with Grace’s support, and is invited to a Sunday service with the community. After that service, Grace’s grandmother meets Heather, and discovers the extreme likelihood that Heather is actually the child she’d made Grace’s mother give up so long ago.
