Ren looked at Jade then at the girl who spoke to them. "So is she the leader of this group and what does she mean by being accepted?" She asks Jade giving her a side glance before looking forward again crossing her arms.

Taking up the offer and noticing Vincent had put one on the side for her already she took flight to reach the table where her exotic meal was resting. The came the next important task, she personally found it fun to do. The peeking of the cookie! It was too big for her to eat whole and she lacked the jaw strength to break it like everyone did. Didn't stop her from enjoying it!

 

Vincent on his side received a very tempting offer. More food, but more work... well that was not true he already had to do it, but he had plans for skipping the last part. He would not get that cake... Kawey came in an killed his hopes too. "Ollie says she is a very bad cook, you'd get sick. Don't tell her bluntly, but refuse." He offered a smile to Anita and replied nicely. "Interesting offer. What kind of cake?" After which he finished his cookie. Now he knew he had to run from work. Kawey, for all her whining, was probably going to have fun running with him to escape the cake of death. He'd just dump all his stuff in the closet and find a way to keep the doors closed long enough. The room would be clean, just not the closet. "So was this the time when we sit back and relax?"

Jade sighed and glanced back and Ren. "I'm not really sure." she admitted with a slight blush of embarrassment.

Anita grinned and said "Chocolate cake! Maybe a triple decker!" Ollie sat and ate a cookie himself, waiting to see what would happen. Anita then said "Nope, no rest yet! Still got to clean your house and do your homework!" She giggled before skipping towards the door and waiting for Vincent. Ollie quickly finished his cookie before scurrying onto Anita's shoulder.

Akira finally got Ziva done and sent her off with a nearby older tribe member. She then turned and said "Alright, you're next." looking at Jade. She then said "And here is a bit of an explanation for you both." She then went into the speech of what was going on. (Again, it's pretty much the same one in the first post. )

Jade nodded to Akira.

"It makes sense now." she said. "But how do we know our spirit animal? I mean, like, where do we meet it?"

Vincent sighed and took one last cookie, thanked the elder and slowly made his way out of his first nightmarish task to start the terrible walk toward the two next steps he personally though were just cruel to force him to do them. Cleaning his room and homework. How was he supposed to survive all that? First off the cleaning, an impossible task for one such as him who never even cleaned it once. He had no idea how one was supposed to clean a room. It was his personal disorder, he knew where to find his stuff in it and the clothing covered floor was comfy for the foot. He turned toward his tormentor, Anita. "Can't you just let me off the hook and just pretend I did it? It's not even a place people go. No one will notice." He took his most miserable look trying to call for her best nature, in his opinion.

 

Kawey was just looking at the scene and had to resist laughing. Her partner had already reached his 'good boy' limit and desired to return to his usual slaking off and fooling around. She knew closing a hole in someone's house was an important thing to do, you never knew when something would enter and hurt the poor person, but cleaning and homework... She knew he studied just before exams since failing would make him lose even more of his precious slacking off time by repeating the same boring stuff, but he had no reason for cleaning. "Oh oh. Now the hard part starts." She then spoke directly to Ollie. "Did you ever go to the Crow clan part of town? This should be fun." She then took off and flew to Vincent's shoulder, poking his ear for affection.

 

"Hey! Hey! Stop the pecking! C'mere you naughty bird." He took her from his shoulder and into his arm so he could pet her more easily. "Silly Black."

Anita frowned and said "A messy house leads to vermin and other nuisances that spread disease. And homework is for your own good." She then added "Anyways I will be assisting you in cleaning and everything. If it is a disaster, oh well so well~" She giggled and said "I think cleaning is fun." Ollie looked at Kawey then sighed. He then grinned and said "Never have, I don't think." He then turned to Anita and said "Kawey says that Vincent had enough of being a 'good boy' and will probably soon run off." Anita narrowed her eyes and the temperature seemed to drop 20 degree's in an instance (Managed by freezing the water in the air) she then said in a menacingly kind voice "You aren't planning on sneaking off, are you Vincent? I thought you wanted cake." Ollie shivered. He hated when she got like this.

When the temperature dropped Kawey quickly took flight away from the cold area. She then glared at the girl who was the source. How dare she freeze her feathers off like that! She liked the mild, warm temperature there was! Vincent on his side realized one thing. This girl was gonna be a lot of trouble and her cake was not even worth it. When he got blamed of wanting to sneak off he took a glance at Kawey who simply looked away a bit ashamed now. She didn't know Anita would be that bad about it. "Sorry...."

 

Vincent focused on Anita, he was not looking like his usual self and was a lot more serious. "Drop the threats girl it won't work on me, it just pisses me off. I hate working, I don't hide it to anyone and it is known for me to leave the work I'm supposed to do at anytime." He took a deep breath and continued. "I can assure you my room is not a vermin trap. No bug or rodent would get in there with their right mind I made sure of it, so did Kawey for the rodents. Also.... I didn't plan on running off just yet, but I also don't plan on doing the homework I can do that when I want and I always end up doing them and passing my exams therefore it not YOUR problem. Now you stop this or I AM leaving." He hated being forced already so being threatened on top of that was something he was not going to accept. Neither was Kawey and she was ready to lend a wing to help him if need be.

Ollie shivered and said "Well, sorry Kawey... I didn't think she'd get this mad... It's cold..." He shivered again. Anita cocked her head and said "I am doing as I am told. I am not getting in trouble for YOU slacking off!" It started warming up though and she walked ahead and said "I didn't threaten either, I was simply asking. Though I do wish to remind you that the more you run off, the more work you will have. And rodents aren't the only things attracted to messy houses. So are cockroaches, fly's, ants, spiders, and a variety of other bugs. Plus mold can start to gather in spots that get even the slightest bit damp and are hidden and not taken care of. A messy house can lead to disease. Your homework, I don't really care about I'll admit. Do what you want. I'll simply say that I didn't see anything, but I'm not going to let you skip out on house cleaning." She had lived in a dirty house for a long time, her parents not helping in the least and her not being able to clean fast enough. Between homework and school, it was impossible to clean up after her family. Three younger siblings, and two parents who didn't give a damn about the house. It was disgusting, and soon her family paid for it when the house was quarantined when mold and rodents and bugs took over, making the house disease central. Luckily she was alone here, and could keep her house clean and disease free now. Her parents could deal on their own, and her three siblings were being taken care of by her aunt and uncle for the time being. Why she cared about others houses being messy? She knew whatever disease could infest the house of someone else could spread. Ollie shivered and said "I forgot to mention, she has gained the nickname 'ice queen' for times like these. She can be happy go lucky... but as soon as you tick her off, well she is cold and it GETS cold." He was happy when the temperature finally returned to normal. He brushed off a few flecks of ice then finally sighed and said "I apologize for my partner... I really shouldn't have said anything, I just wanted to give her a fair warning. You do realize she is just doing her job, right? She will also be punished if Vincents work doesn't get done.." He sighed again, hoping up on Anita's shoulder and shaking his head a bit.

Ren nods kind of understanding what Akira was saying but starts getting tired of standing. She decideds to sit down on the ground crossing her legs and her arms looking around then closing her eyes listening to the sounds around her. "I could get used to a place like this." She says sighing happly.

Jade sat next to Ren.

"Yeah same here. Too bad I have my mom and dad waiting to come home."

(Derping too)

Ren sighs and looks at Jade. "Yeah well at least you have a family to go to." She says closing her eyes again trying not to bring up bad memories.

(Alright then)

 

Akira looked at Jade and said "Ah yes, sorry. You are in the Wolf Clan like me. I'll escort you personally, but you'll have to be patient." She turned to Ren and said "Alright, your turn. Please step up to the pond and look in. You'll know if you are accepted." She flourished her hand towards the pond and stepped to the side a bit to let him through.

Ren sighs and stands up streatching a little. She then goes to the pond Akira directed her to and stands at the edge looking at her reflection. Suddenly a bird flew by catching her attention then she looks back at the water to see a fox where her reflection was. "You have been accepted young one. Your true name is Deche Digwape known in english as Silent Messanger. You reside in the Fox clan." Ren blinks and the fox is gone showing her reflection again. She looks up at Akira slightly shocked. "Was that real?" She asked still confused.

(OOH! Crud crud crud! *Flies off to grab and post it after this post*)

 

Akira grinned and said "It was real. Welcome to the Pohakanten Tribe." Akira waved for a random person to come over. It was a young man, about 16, and he smiled and said "Hello, I am part of the Fox Clan." Akira instructed him to follow her, and lead Ren to the Fox tribe after she got her tattoo. He nodded then Akira said "Alright, follow me. You two have to get your tattoo's."

Ren nods slightly a bit shocked still but is slowly calming down. "So umm where do we get our Tattoos exactly?" She asks stuffing her hands inside her sweater pockets.

Smiling, Jade walked after Akira. "Personally, I don't care where the tattoo's come, because mom promised I could take a tattoo, if it's small." she said, but glanced at Akira. "Wait, is the tattoo small?"

Akira lifted the hair from her neck and said "Not really, but again things will be explained to your mom." She let it back down then said "Alright follow me." Before heading towards the tribe. The young man from Fox Tribe quickly ran after her.

Ren sighs but smiles slightly following behind Akira looking over at Jade. "Wonder what is going to happen after we get out tattoos." She says frowning.

[Kayrinda]

"Something cool, do doubt." Jade replied. Things were different here, but in a good way. The forest was beautiful and people were basically nice to them.

Oh well, at least they are telling mom about this... stuff. Jade thought.

Soon enough the group was at the tattooists place. Akira smiled then said "Alright. We're here. Also don't worry this won't hurt any. The tattooists special power is to numb all pain, and his wife will heal your skin afterwards so that it doesn't hurt later either." She looked at Ren and said "You can go first. Afterwards you'll be escorted to get some weapons then taken to your new home where you can start settling in. You'll be excused from school for two weeks so you can get used to the tribe and how life works around here. You'll be taught how to hunt, and you can gain a familiar who will be like a partner to you."

Ren nods silently then had a curious face. "Ummm a familiar? like a cat or a bird or something?" She asks remember reading about it once with wizards in a book. But then before she knew it she was sitting down and the tattooist moved her hair and numbed her neck. Once he finished with the tattoo his wife came out and healed it. "That was so weird, yet cool!" Ren says excitedly moving to another seat waiting for Jade to get her tattoo.
