Posted June 15, 2011 Are there any sad songs that have an attachment to you? Like something that you can relate to, or you associate with a memory? Back on topic, 'I Miss You' by Avril Lavinge always makes me sad due to a recent loss. 'Concrete Angel' will always one of my favorites though. Link to song: Share this post Link to post

Yellow Butterfly is about a little girl drowning in a river. But it could be interpreted in any other way too. Share this post Link to post
Posted June 15, 2011 by Nightwish. Although it only tugs on the heartstrings if I'm already feeling down. Otherwise it's just cool I've got a bunch a listen to when I'm on a downer, but I'm not sure how many of them are actualy sad in their entire lyrical content and how many just hit me that way... Posted June 19, 2011 Two songs: Low Man's Lyric by Metallica and Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day. WMUWSE only has any meaning to me though because it reminds me of a place I used to go to swim, they used to play it all the time. Low Man's Lyric is just beautiful. Share this post Link to post

Posted July 22, 2011 Are there any sad songs that have an attachment to you? Like something that you can relate to, or you associate with a memory? Too Much by All Time Low. It isn't really that sad, but I had this boyfriend once that broke up with me because he got mad about something I did, and I was really upset and listened to this song on repeat for awhile. Sometimes it still makes me think of sad things. xP Unrelated to memories: Sunday Bloody Sunday by Saul Williams. It's a cover, but I have never listened to the original. It is about a really sad, and true event. It happened in Ireland, I believe. It just makes me sad that our world really has things like this happen. Share this post Link to post
