Travel Through Asia

Recommended Posts

Lethendralis, please pay closer attention to the rules.

Chengdu is reserved for you for use as your second city, and should not be opening for travel until you are approved for a second city.

Secondly, your first city MUST be a capital. This means that you can not use Phuket.

It was pointed out to me that your first city request, Nicosia is actually available. You may choose to host that if you wish, or change to a different capital city.

Oh I'm sorry... sad.gif So Nicosia WAS available? I didn't need to change...? So I'll take Hellfire and Chengdu, Blusang and Nicosia?

Sorry, no trip to Male (with acute accent on e laugh.gif ) yet, because I still need a male. I got 3 eggs and forgot to gender them and all were females. *sigh*

Also, a question. Could I reserve the striped dragons for my second capital? Or how does the reserving work? I'm a bit confused. Thanks and sorry if it was explained in a previous post.

Lethendralis - Yes. I'm very sorry for the confusion and mistake on my part. Please take Nicosia and Blusangs as your capital. Chengdu and hellfires are reserved for you and should not be opening for travel yet. When you have 10 second gens you can apply for a second city using the form in the first post. Until you have been approved for the second city, please don't have Chengdu and hellfires on your passport or mention them in the thread.

Pavasaris - You know what I google Malé everytime so that I can get the accent on the e(copy pasting). That or I find it somewhere in the thread and copy paste it. tongue.gif

That's fine! Remember you don't have to but normally you keep your first 2nd gen. It depends you might choose to use it to travel, depends how you feel. I'm just pointing this out so you know that there's no rush. smile.gif My boyfriend isn't particularly active on the forum, but his Korea dragons refused each other so he had to get a new one too! The same thing happened to Idril with her horses. So in a way it's a good thing you have 3 female ones because if you get a boy and get a refusal you won't have to raise a new one! Lol

Edit: Sorry I got distracted saying all that I forgot to reply to the second part of your post! You're allowed to reserve either a city or a breed of dragon for your second city. If you'd like to reserve both then you have to explain to me why you think the dragon suits the city and then I will consider it, and probably say yes. smile.gif But yes, stripes will be reserved for you. smile.gif

Idril - That happened when I bred my Copenhagen dragons for the Travel Through Europe thread. It's annoying is't it? D: But yay that at least they didn't refuse! biggrin.gif

Taryn123 - You know what? When I'm trying for a certain breed of dragon I almost never see it! But it's everywhere when I'm looking for something else!! It's so annoying.

ps. I think tri-horn wyvern eggs look a bit like a bird did a poo on them. tongue.gif

@StarLaDragon: I'm sorry to say but my dragons refused each other when I was trying to breed you an egg. Hoping that by next week they'll want to cooperate with each other again. Sorry for the delay sad.gif

Lethendralis - Please remember that Chengdu is reserved for you and should not be opening for travel yet. You should not be trying to breed 2nd gens for it until you have been approved for a second city. It should also not be on your passport or mentioned in the thread yet. Please don't make me tell you again.

How did I miss this???

Oh yeah, it's NaNoWriMo time. Forums? What are those? Must... update... word count...

Anyway... I totally must get in on the Asian travels as well as the European ones. To that end, I am requesting Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte (Sri Lanka) and Gold-Horned Tangars.

Folks who know me might mention that I'm a bit of a history nerd. So, I did some quick Wikipedia research and came up with this...

The Sinhalese Monarchy was established in 543 BC with Prince Vijaya founding the Kingdom of Tambapanni and ended with Sri Vikrama Rajasinha of Kandy in 1815.
As the Sinhalese are the largest ethnic group in Sri Lanka, it seemed appropriate to name my CBs for the founding monarchs.

Meet Vijaya of Sri Lanka and Kuveni of Sri Lanka and their daughter Disal of Sri Lanka.

Edited to add, thinking about it, if I may, I would like to reserve Colombo as well. Can you tell I love Sri Lanka? I've wanted to go there ever since I saw the video for Duran Duran's "Save a Prayer" around 30 years ago.

No-one's interested in my Druk line Guardian from Bhutan?

Well, I have yet to be officially welcomed into the thread and I'm a little hesitant to post a passport until I have been. But if you're willing to take a chance, I've offered an egg from Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte.

And if for some reason my capital/dragon combination gets rejected, you'll get the first egg from whatever I replace it with.

Well, since the Bhutan baby grew up before my offer was seen, I have a ticket to Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte available. Who would like to tour lovely Sri Lanka?

Just offer a dummy if you run into trouble at your local tourism office. tongue.gif
