Posted June 11, 2011 I'll keep that in mind, Natasha =) I don't see why people think that. Because it is mentioned that it is a process. =) I think that they are simply not reading the pinned topics. Share this post Link to post
Posted June 11, 2011 Yes, I suppose that's quite likely. There do seem to be a lot of peeps who just jump in without reading. ^ ^ 'Tis too bad, as it makes things take longer for everyone. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 13, 2011 Bump~ Devy 'n Kodiak nu liek eet when teh hewlpful guide ish hidden. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 13, 2011 This is a really good guide, thanks for posting it. I showed it to some of my friends who were new to RPing and they're doing a lot better now. ^^ Share this post Link to post
Posted September 27, 2011 Why don't the mods sticky this? It'd be much more helpful c: Share this post Link to post
Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) Since we have too many pinned topics, this guide will be allowed to float around the forums. =) We're also opening it to member ideas, so people can comment and add in their own ideas. If you want to add another section to this guide, tell one of the moderators (RP, me, the other globals, though it may probably just get sent back to me), and we will go over it, and either approve or deny it, and move it near the top. =) Does that post help in any way? :3 We had the guide pinned for a while, but it was decided that we had too many sticky'd topics, so it was unpinned. Posted November 10, 2011 May just have to pin this thing again. I keep going to chuck it in the trash. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 12, 2011 Hey, question here: What is the meaning of the word OP? What does it stand for? Share this post Link to post
Posted November 12, 2011 Original Poster. =) Basically it is the person who started the thread. The host, so to speak. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 12, 2011 (edited) Can't you just say thread master or TM or something? Which brings up the next issue: You should add the meaning of OP to the dictionary. I roleplay for almost a year now and I had no idea of the meaning of it until now, whilst 'hit' is really.. well.. stupid to write down. Who doesn't know the meaning of this word? Posted November 12, 2011 I learned about it from the people here. =) I don't think TM would fly. =) I'll write a note at the top of the thread, defining OP though. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 12, 2011 I learned the meaning of it here, too. ^^ I kind of just guessed and turned out to be right, though once I was confused when someone used it for 'over-powered'. Share this post Link to post
Posted January 3, 2012 There's another underused term I don't see. "Bunnying". Lol, it's when someone controlls another character. Share this post Link to post
Posted January 30, 2012 I looked around and I've fixed all the mistakes on my RP. The approver assigned to my RP{soupinaz, great approver, by the way!} quit to let a newbie to the approving business approve the rest of my RP, and I haven't heard from him/her in about a week or so now. Please send another approver to help me here. Thanks! ~ 523ponygirl Share this post Link to post
Posted May 17, 2012 I wasn't sure if I should post here, or PM a RP mod.. but I think that there should be a word of the week, or something like that, for all the newbie RP'ers here. I've joined quite a few roleplays and some of the people who made/joined the RPs aren't all that good with words and spelling stuff out. *is not going to name names* They say 'u' instead of 'you', and so on... but some do make an effort to learn, and I thought a word of the week would be useful for them. Or something along those lines. Like how I never knew the word 'acrimony' before. 'Acrimony: Bitter, sharp hostility, espically in speech.' I rather like to have a large vocabulary, and when I learn a new word I use it a lot. But I just figured I should post this here... Please correct me if I shouldn't have. Share this post Link to post

The best bet for this would be a thread in forum games or something along those lines. Your best bet is to contact a GD mod to ask if it would be alright. Share this post Link to post
Posted October 13, 2012 I have a thread in the Unapproved section. The scroll is closed and it has a dark blotch on it. Is this where I can come to find out what the heck that means? Share this post Link to post
Posted October 13, 2012 I have a thread in the Unapproved section. The scroll is closed and it has a dark blotch on it. Is this where I can come to find out what the heck that means? That's more of a help question. :3 But - an open scroll means there are new posts you haven't read. A closed scroll means you've read all the posts. No blotch means you haven't posted in the topic and a blotch means you have posted in the topic. Share this post Link to post
