There are people out there like that--some people were planning on skipping Black/White and just getting the (at the time) inevitable Gray version. Others are those people who probably scream about the new gens sucking because they're not the exact same as their precious *insert favorite generation here*

Others are probably those that despise any series breaking from their formula for any reason at all.

I feel like it's the last one, since she got both Black and White and loved them. :/

Judging by the intro, I'd say you're right on the money.

Awwww me and my brother eggmaster99 have a 3ds and we know that you can play it on the 3ds but no 3d effects but we were wondering any new pokemon game for 3ds?

Going too far? If it was just the generic third version (minor changes, same plot and such) then people would complain it was too similar, and that Nintendo just changed a few things in the game to get easy money. I for one, like this change very much. I don't feel ripped off for having the first 'version' (previously, the third version was always just 'better', but BW 2 is different).

Interesting because I was considering getting White 2 when I have black, but if it's recommended I get black 2 then I ought to consider that.

Yeah, Imma get Black 2. Since they are direct sequels, I kind of figured that it would make sense. :3

I still haven't finished my White version. <3 Of course that is a Nuzlocke, so I keep having to restart it because I fail so hard.

I guess I should get Black 2 then, since I got Black, and Black 2 is the blue one anyway. I'd still like to see the version-exclusive Pokemon before deciding for sure, though.

As has been mentioned, at this time there are no 3DS entries in the main series announced--Rumble Blast is the only 3DS Pokemon game for the time being. (Unless you count that 3D Pokedex)

I'm sure that the next gen, or the next remakes (which I'd imagine would be Ruby/Sapphire) would likely be on the 3DS.

But as of this exact moment, no, there are no new Pokemon games for the 3DS coming out.

I don't think it was going too far--I'm just saying some of the reasoning I've seen used when others complain.

I, personally, am TRHILLED to have a proper sequel rather than an enhanced game that combines elements from both previous versions' plots.

Then I learned it was fake. I was so enraged that I almost destroyed the laptop, that would have ended bad if I hadn't received the true link to serebii for the real B/W 2

I just never believe anything unless it comes off of Serebii or Bulbapedia and if it's not april 1st


Really there are some awesome photoshoppers and spriters out there, people can fake just about anything.



I wonder if getting the sequel will end up getting you the opposite legendary. So if you had Black Version 1 and get reshiram, then in black version 2 you get zekrom (since black kyurem is the mascot and it's a fusion of it and zekrom...).

Or, the zekrom that N owns (via black version) is the one that fuses with kyurem...


I actually do have white version though, it's an import because I was impatient, but I can't play it on the 3DS at all because of region lock and my regular DS doesn't get internet connection so I figure I'll stick to english for this round.

They need to come out with a new pokemon game tho I'm bored playing all the ones I have over and over and over >_<

Wait, there's new info on the sequels!? Oh, what a week for my internet to go down. Guess I could just avoid spoilers like the plague like I did for Black and White. Glad things seem to really be shaping up though. Maybe all those empty buildings in Castelia will have people in them now.

@ember Have you collected all the Pokemon? That ought to keep you busy for a few months if you go after all the stages. It's what I've been doing to tide me over 'till Fall. Just need those two freaky, floating on cloud Pokemon, Kyrum, a certain purple bug, the My little Pony reject, and that music note pop star...thing. Don't think the last two have left Japan yet, though everybody knows it's only a matter of time before they do.

Keldeo and Meloetta haven't actually been released in Japan yet, they're going via event for when the next movie comes out.

I assume whenever that movie makes it to the US we'll get both events.


As for genesect, even japan doesn't have that nor has it officially been announced as a pokemon (even though everyone knows it exists).

They really should. But they shouldn't make a new region because they're running out of ideas for Pokemon. A game where all the regions collide would be so cool.

Well, that's what BW2 are--brand new Pokemon games. True, it's not a new region, but it has new places and new gyms and leaders. It doesn't have new Pokemon, true, but it has an all-new plot with new protagonists instead of just a buffed-up version of the plot from the previous 2 games in a generation like the standard 3rd version is.

FINALLY, someone else thinks of this I've always wanted to be able to travel between all the regions... Would be epical.

In US it comes out in fall... I forgot Europe... It comes out earlier in Austrailia...

Okay that construction area between Nimbassa and Castelia is connected. Fantastic, No more "Pokemon Parodies 9'11" people. It looks like Abundant Shrine is still intact so we can get the Kami Trio Master, Yays. All of Eastern Unova and most of Northern part is frozen over. I betcha our boys in Plasma threw a fit after we kicked their leaders but, The figurehead AND the real one released the Ice-Dragon and did somehow the smartest thing possible. Froze over the players home, the newest unlocked area full of delicious new Pokemon and the Pokemon League, all areas the player probably would have been caught during this freeze, depending on whether it was gradual of long-term. If I'm looking at this correctly most the areas south of the town where Clay is has new areas, makes logical sense as those areas are opposite of where the ice is. The map seems fairly logical except for one detail. Opelicud City is still there. I don't know how but maybe those two areas survived. It doesn't sense though seeing at the only ways to access the area are probably frozen over, Twist Mountain *might* be unfrozen on the inside but highly unlikely. Maybe the Entralink has a clue to go to the seemingly inaccessible areas shown such as Abundant Shrine. The Island Near P2 Lab is intact though which might bring up a possible Genesect/Kyreum Incident in there...

*Giant Shrug* those are just my thoughts but IDK, IDK.
