Two figures entered the meeting room. One seemed odd, like a lizard, yet not quite. The other one was fully equipped with battle gear and had a mask-things to cover his face. Only his gleaming eyes were noticed, but they glowed, without any significant color.

The two men looked around. "Hello," one of them said. The lizard one, "Kraer." He simply said. The other one looked around as well, "Krawler." He didn't even say hello, obviously those were the silent types.

They both sat down. "Fraener, we fight Crawlers?" the lizard said. "I know them." He spoke even weaker. He looked over Krawler. They were friends, because they were the first one to know each other.

Krawler sat as well. "I see..." that's all he said with his echo(ish) voice. He thought about the Casters, how will he survive through it... It was reasonable it'd be tough, since he used magic and they used it as well.

(Two new Dos members!)

The old dragon blinked at the two newcomers. They would be accompanying Team Dos for the mission, but their numbers overfilled the Team. He would have to sort them out, when both returned.

"We're fighting Casters," he replied easily to Kraer.

To Xtero, he said, "It's unknown, but I don't think they would. They'd perform the spells differently to you." Fraener smiled and asked, "Is that all?"

Xtero's dark eyes turned towards the two newcomers who entered the room. His brows furrowed slightly, but his gaze returned to Fraener as he answered his question. A frown appeared on his lips as the Necromancer sighed heavily. So, these Casters had unknown aspects; that wasn't good for him, being a magic-based user as well. It seemed that if it came down to it, he would have to abandon his magic again and get close up with his fists. It was times like these that Xtero wished that he had enough courage to use a more useful weapon, other than his own two hands.

Shaking his head slightly, Xtero found his gaze reverting back to the two new people. One was a lizard like person, and the other... Bending over, the Necromancer leaned towards the masked person and sniffed at him. He blinked, cocking his head slightly. "Does the doppelganger ever leave its victims alive, or do the flies of the summer day buzz out of pleasure of annoying the larger beast that they fly around?" His words had become confusing again; Xtero pressed his lips together into a thin line, hoping that this new person didn't take things too personally.

"The doppleganger ever leave its victims alive, for sure. As the flies of the summer is killed by the frogs of the night." The masked man removed his mask, to reveal his face for a split second. He put the mask again and made a quiet evil laugh. It seemed like the masked man understood the necromancer in a perfect way. "Casters, thank you." The man said to Fraener.

The lizard could not stand the waiting. It seems like he became larger for a second, and continued to grow a little until he stopped. He reached about eight feet now and was embarrassed. Not again, Basilisk origins... he thought angrily. He looked around to see many kinds of creatures from different species and races.

Xtero pulled back, staring at the man as he spoke. He cocked his head as the mask was removed for a second before it was replaced again. A frown creased the necromancer's face as a sigh escaped his lips. "True, but the nocturnal beast that prowls the night is feared by anything with a rattle within its chest." Xtero turned to the door, not wanting to stand idle anymore. "Even the smallest of demons reap great misfortune," he muttered to himself.

The necromancer paused under the doorway, turning to peer over his shoulder at the lizard creature. "Talons grasp even the poisonous of serpents," Xtero murmured to himself again, his eyes turning around again and walked out of the door and into the other room. Whenever the others are ready to leave, he would be ready as well. After all, he had nothing to take with him.

The necromancer followed Xtero. "Once again, correct, yet the large predator is capable of feeding on from the nocturnla beast once it's been poisoned." Kryon said as he looked over the necromancer; "Lakols?" ("Friends?") He offered his hand to shake it.

Meanwhile the lizard was surprised; "Uh..." He said without respond. He sat down there, feeling odd. He slowly turned smaller. What did he... He tried to figure out what did he mean by that even talons grasp even the poisonous? Kraer wasn't a serpent, he was a Bassilo. And not poisonous, venomous and gigantique. So big nothing could grasp him, once in his Basilisk form, of course.

The man had followed Xtero out into the other room. He frowned, turning to face him as he spoke. "Time corrodes even the mightiest of beasts," he muttered, mostly to himself than to the man. Yet, as the other offered his hand out to shake, Xtero seemed skeptical, eyeing the hand. He wanted...to be friends? The necromancer pressed his lips together, frowning at the hand, until he grasped the other's hand, shook it once, let go, and fled across the room and out the other door to the outside. He wasn't sure if that was a good thing if he shook or not, but he wasn't going to stick around and see if the man turned on him or not. Xtero was still rather uneasy with people.

[EMO PALS POWER - ACTIVATE!]

The necromancer went inside the meeting room once more, waiting for Fraener to explain more about the Casters and when we will meet them. "When we shall eat the candies of doom that the jewelmakers create?" Kryon said. Nobody understood it. Kraer raised one of his eyebrows; "Damn this is odd," he said as he sat somewhere else.

The old dragon stared after the pair of necromancers, and then shook his head in despair. He wished good luck to those of Team Dos, and informed them that their packs were waiting in the reception. He ran a hand through his grey hair and began to collect his scrolls and parchment.

"Bloody necro-nutters," he mouthed to the table in front of him.

Fraener glanced about discretely, wondering if anybody had heard him.

Jeff looked around and sighed. "I guess this means I can't just stay on distraction duty, eh?" He smiled sheepishly attempting to make a joke, yet failing at it, "I can use long range weapons, ice spears balls spikes. Hell if they were made of water, I could even drown them if that is what was wanted. Now before we go in there as if they can't see us, remember that they can. If you are on the distraction team, always keep moving. They have excellent eyesight remember, that means better then us. Rangers, never stay in one place and shoot. I say fire and draw back as you reload so that they never know where you are. They may be slime, but I doubt they are ignorant enough not to notice the range attacks."

The Jackal observed the little riddle show that the necromancer and the new necromancer was giving every one. He sighed and stared at the ceiling. His sarcastic joyful and insane cover was starting to ware off. It was at that point the necromancers left for a little bit before one returned. The Jackal looked back up the the front of the room when the dragon made a comment, a funny one he guessed by the dragons immediate facial reaction.

The necromancer and the lizard looked around, the necromancer silent. "When do we start?" The lizard asked without patient. He was ready and eager to start, showing off his tremendous skills, but unfortunately, he had no idea what would happen. He waited and waited for a response, and he face palmed after a few seconds. The necromancer simply shut, as he got up once again and left. "Let me know when the rats go near the cave of the cats," the necromancer smiled deviantly, though nobody could see that with his mask.

Without much of a warning because Kira was getting annoyed with those on her team, she fired an explosive round at the All-Seers which would explode when it made contact with the beast. Maybe this would get the others on her team to shut their mouths and just get moving.

Zhiess seemed to get the hint as he dashed off, giving Sooty a short tug in an attempt to get her to follow. He went up and around, preferring to be on ground above where the All-Seers were since they were in this shallow dish. He also noted that he would use his wind powers to float over the much at was all around the All-Seers. As he ran around the All-Seers, he used his ability to keep the fog thick around them so then they wouldn't be able to see what was going on around them, but Kira and the others would be able to see the silhouettes of the beasts.

((I don't if I can make that any more noticeable to you Bubbles so you will respond to me. >.>))

As Kira fired at the All-Seer, Signum let loose her own bolt at the target. Her shot wedged itself in the creature's fleshy hide before blowing up and removing a sizable chunk of flesh. With a gaping wound bleeding freely, Signum began moving quickly to change position, she knew it would be necessary as now the All-Seer was going to be on edge against further strikes. When she reached her next stop she drew and fired another bolt at the monster.

((Kehehehhh.))

A gun was fired with several explosive bangs that made the shifter jump in surprise. She glanced at the annoyed vampire, with an eyebrow raised, but followed Zhiess when he yanked at her arm. The gunshots seemed to be a hint to get their behinds moving for the attack, and for Zhiess and herself to distract the ugly demons. The elemental man cloaked them in fog as they ran, and Sooty pulled her shot-gun from its holster. She couldn't see through the fog, but the feline shifter hoped that the others would, so that they would be able to attack the Seers.

~

A high-pitched keen echoed throughout the dish-like dip, loud enough to make one with sensitive hearing wince. It was followed by an angry, low-pitched bellow and an odd, wet sound. The majority of Kira's bullets had made impact, wounding the larger of the group of demons. A stray one had stuck one of its young, who was screeching at the top of its lungs. The mother All-Seer searched around for the attacker, growling and gurgling threateningly as she searched through the fog. There was a fast-moving cloud of the mist, which confused her, but she couldn't see an attacker through it. But there were silhouettes up on the bank, just beyond the layer of slime. She bellowed out a roar, at a higher pitch than the one that echoed it from the opposite side of the Slayers. The demon surged forward, excreting poison and blowing out massive amounts of toxic gas from her tail. Her mouth was open, baring her many sharp teeth, and her three eyes were focused on the group of attackers.

((lol did you get that I meant a fog around the All-Seers, not Zhiess and Sooty?))

Zhiess kept moving, watching the movements of the All-Seers to make sure none of them would be able to get a surprise attack on him and Sooty. He used his wind powers to slice at the enemies. When one began to charge and spew out poisonous gas, he quickly did his best to use the wind to blow the poison away from him team members.

Kira went the opposite direction of Signum, taking aim again as she ran and fired once more. In mere seconds she reloaded her shotgun, but was distracted when she heard the high pitched whine from one of the All-Seers. That was definitely an annoying sound. She aimed low, firing at what she hoped was the small All-Seer making that noise. If it was blasted into pieces, it couldn't make that sound anymore. It would also be one less thing to deal with.

One of the larger All-Seers began to charge and Kira aimed her next shot at its gaping mouth.

Jeff sighed and began to make small ice shards inside of the mist. He remained still, using his ability this much is great drain for him. After a while, the fog was contaminated with ice shards. With the sun light where it was he knew that he was effecting his own team's ability. He looked around quickly, his eyes adjusted to the reflecting rays. It did not take Jeff long to decide on a victim. A good thing considering his teammates were just finishing their reloading process. He aimed every shard he had created and sent them all flying down at the slime ball that charged forward. Immediately afterwards, he moved back from the edge and out of the line of sight.

((Let's pretend it said that. XD

/lazy))

Multiple things pierced her slimy skin at once; shards of cold, burning like fire, and pellets of hot metal, slamming through the roof of her gaping mouth. She screeched, wavering and slowing. Something soft and squishy tapped her side and one of her eyes swivelled to identify it. It was the flesh of one of her young, now very dead. The rest of her babies squealed, producing massive amounts of toxic gas in fear. The gas of parent and children was blown away by an unnatural wind.

The All-Seer quivered, and called out to her mate. It was low, too low of a pitch to be heard by the Slayers. She communicated that there was a threat, and that it needed to be eliminated. After receiving a response on the same frequency, she surged forward once more. Her mouth filled with her blood, which was swallowed without a second thought, and all of her attention was focused on the attackers. As she got within ten meters of the Slayers, the blood that had pooled in her mouth in the moments before was sprayed out. The blood was highly acidic and she knew it well; the demon roared in triumph and slid forward in an attempt to reach them.

~

Sooty saw the All-Seer spit the blood out, and screamed a warning. She pulled the sawn-off shotgun from its holster and aimed for less than a second. The trigger was pulled and the bullets erupted from the muzzle. Most of them hit the cave-demon in the back of its head, making it jolt and slow, but it didn't stop. One of the eyes drooped and the shifter saw that she may have hit the eye stalk. Her yellow eyes darted to Zhiess and she opened her mouth to call out to him.

"The eyes! Hit the eyes!"

Sooty quickly reloaded and movement attracted her attention. There was a mass of young All-Seers, moving in their direction. She cursed, stumbling backward, before aiming the gun at the young. She fired the gun, missing most of them; there were several high-pitched squeals, though, and two faltered. Their tooth-filled mouths were thrown wide open, like a child's when it cries, and an unending ululation echoed across the dish.

Kira swiftly ran as she saw that blood being spat in her direction. Since these were quite poisonous beasts, it would make sense if their blood was as well. A few Droplets of the blood hit her arm and back, burning away her clothes and flesh, but she ignored it as she kept running and fired once more at the All-Seer. She had heard Sooty's shout of hitting them in the eyes and that was precisely where she had aimed her shot. Without taking much time to see if her shot actually hit its eye (she was pretty confident of herself that it would), she ran around to get at the other large All-Seer there.

Zhiess looked to Sooty when she shouted out at him, but his attention was brought back to the All-Seers when many small ones were charging at them. Sooty fire her gun, missing most and the small things still cried out, which was getting pretty annoying. In a swift motion, he took advantage of how close they were to slice them all in half with his scythe.

Jeff was moving slightly slower then what he would have preferred, not that he was surprised after doing such of an attack. He was running backwards, not able to afford the time to turn around as the acidic blood came falling after him like the rain of a chasing cloud. By the time it had stopped falling, he could feel where he was hit some on his leg. Jeff moved off to the side keeping a distance from the All-Seer. The only way they were able to see each other would be fleeting shadows in the fog. Jeff stopped worrying about hiding his attacks and began to make short skinny icicles and shooting them at the charging All-Seer. Jeff wasn't particularly aiming for any specific spot on the All-Seer, he just wanted to slow it down.

The bullet pierced the eye, continuing straight through the soft body part to hit the ground at the other side of the dish. Beyond feeling pain now, the slug-demon barrelled along, toward the slower moving male. He formed thin things that reflected beams of weak sunlight off into the fog, and threw them at her. She felt the impact, but ignored the pain. The ice spears still managed to slow her down significantly; with on eye dangling uselessly, and the other two bloodshot and reddened, the All-Seer was having a hard time with her vision.

A dark figure, huge and looking like a hill, loomed in the fog in front of the vampire. A dull bull-like roar sent ripples through the grass and acidic spittle through the air. Papa was home, and he was furious. All of his babies; dead. His lifelong mate; on the edge of death and past recovery. Someone needed to pay, and Kira was close enough to spit on; so that's exactly what he did. He gathered the toxic goop in his large mouth and sprayed it out toward the woman several meters away from him with another roar.

~

Sooty screamed again, pinning her hands over her ears and dropping to her knees. The roar was too much for her; the shotgun lay on the ground beside her, which was splattered with All-Seer baby bits. Her eyes were squeezed shut and her ears rung loudly. Slowly, it went away, but the following silence was deafening. She slowly opened her eyes and glanced across to where Kira was; through the thick fog, she could see it. The ripples in the mist, the spray of liquid. There should have been noise, groaning or gurgling from the dying young. There was nothing; all was silence to the shifter.

When a a very large All-Seer was suddenly mere meters from her and spitting acid at her, she focused all her energy in running out of its reach. She managed to barely dodge it, a few drops hit her back and she hissed in pain. Now she would have to go buy new clothes, and she liked this jacket too.

Quickly she turned her shotgun to aim at the All-Seer and fired a shot at each eye to blind it. If it couldn't see, then it couldn't aim at her. Hopefully while the others fought with the other almost blind All-Seer, she could wear down the All-Seer that was attacking her.

"Sooty! Pull yourself together!" Zhiess exclaimed at her urgently when he saw the shape-shifter drop to her knees with her hands covering her ears. He looked over to where Jeff was and saw the All-Seer heading towards him. Zhiess all saw and heard another All-Seer attacking Kira. Jeff was closer at the moment, so Zhiess grabbed Sooty around her waist, picked her up, and ran towards Jeff. With the hand that held his scythe, he waved it around above his head, summoning winds which then ferociously sliced at the All-Seer attacking Jeff. The winds struck hard and fast as if they were the blades of swords.

The moment before the bullets hit, the eyes were safe and whole. One by one, all that was left was a gaping hole, that were completely useless to the All-Seer, and two dangling stalks. He bellowed his pain, even louder than the previous cries he had emitted, reaching the highest decimals his lungs could manage. Toxic fumes belched out from the pores in his tail and he spat out acid in random directions, hoping to hit something. Anything. He surged forward, crushing a small, dead shrub into splinters.

The winds cut through her soft hide, and she seemed to deflate before their eyes. A weak gurgle bubbled from her closing throat and her form collapsed. The plates of armour, that had been useless in the battle, protruded up from the rubbery mass pooling on the slimy ground. Toxic fumes bruised the air with a purple, green-tinged smoke as the body began to dissolve. By the time the process was finished, all that would have been left would be the armour plates and the sharp teeth.

~

A strong arm encircled her waist and jerked her from the ground, holding her at torso-height to the Slayer. She looked up, bouncing with the movement of his sprinting and saw it was Zhiess; he swung the scythe and Sooty looked forward. Invisible blades seemed to slice through the skin of the cave demon - the shifter took a moment to realise it was the elemental's wind power. She saw its jaw open and wondered why it didn't make a sound. Not even the attack had emitted any noise, and there should have been the harsh rushing of the air motions. Sooty frowned as a warm liquid slid down the side of her face; what was it, she wondered. She hadn't been hit on the head, had she?

Jeff growled. The sounds ere becoming deafening and the acid on his legs continued to eat away. Finally Jeff decided that the fog, though helpful, was more work then he could afford in his situation. So to make it easier on him, Jeff disbanded his power from the fog and breathed in a breath of cooling relief. As the fog began to disband, Jeff came to a stop and formed another icicle weapon, this one thick and long. Jeff held the icicle waiting for the beast to get to him when suddenly he felt multiple gushes of wind rush pass him and the beast that was once chasing him, fall to the ground. Jeff looked up and his keen eyes barely gave him the ability to see Zheiss carrying the shifter and holding his scythe.

Jeff waved his hand in thanks and proceeded to look around noticing that there was only one more left, and it was attacking the vampire. Jeff didn't wait, he took off in a sprint heading to Kira's aid, whether she wanted it or not. He spun and dived avoiding the acid spit the best he could. He had ran past Kira already, Jeff wasn't sure why, but he did and now he was running straight at the last All-Seer. Once Jeff was in range, he shoved his weapon upwards at a diagonal. The weapon entered at the lower front and exited at the lower back. Of course Jeff didn't even wait to see whether it hit or not as he was already quickly backing off, not wanting to get hit by the potential blood.

Kira managed to avoid most of it, but some of the acid it spat landed on her shoulders and arms as she reloaded her gun. Suddenly Jeff was rushing past her and stabbed the large All-Seer, quickly backing off. No doubt more of the acidic blood would come out now, so she quickly took aim as she backed off, firing both explosive rounds into the All-Seer.

Zhiess was pretty sure that Jeff and Kira would be able to take care of the last All-Seer, so he stopped where he was, setting Sooty down. With another wave of his scythe, the poison and whatever fog remained was then blown away in a strong breeze. He then turned his attention to Sooty and saw the blood coming from her ears. Zhiess had no healing magic and he wasn't really sure what to do about something like this so he at least made sure Sooty wasn't about to pass out on him. He waved his hand in front of her face to get her attention.

Signum was firing bolt after bolt from her bow into the all-seers. What she had going for her was that the explosions from her attacks were large enough that they were causing damage even through the natural armor of the creature, but when they hit unprotected flesh the effect was tremendous and horrible. Probably only a quarter of the original number were left now and the large one was close to dying by the reaper's well trained eyes as she worked to kill the creatures. She hadn't been hit by the acid by virtue of her cover barrier earlier, but she was worried that things were taking too long.
