Posted September 12, 2011 So, then I am wondering further: They are kinda white/grey-green color on my screen. IF they are from an already approved Mardi Gras lineage accepted breed, would they be an approved Mardi Gras lineage breed also? I just don't think I could deliberately kill a dragon, I get enough dead ones from view bombings and it really upsets me. So, would it be something we could trade for to become part of our Mardi Gras lineage. The new tourist-turned-member thinks it would be really good idea to have one. grammy, Zombies can't be traded, gifted, or bred. They also can not be gotten rid of. Posted September 20, 2011 I was waiting to see the adult sprites before I said yes or no to the new breeds. My opinion is this: Gold-Horned Tangar: Definitely a green breed. I have no doubts about this one. As Xoco said, it's a slam-dunk, shoo-in for green. They're perfect. End of my spiel. Spotted Greenwing: They definitely have a green color to them. It's even in their name. And they have NO LESS green than blacks have gold. In fact they have more green, quite a bit. It's definitely a blueish-green, but.... I think they work. My votes. From what I have seen in studying up and searching for naming possibilities, the color white plays a big role in Mardi Gras/Carnivale celebrations particularly in the masks. Posted September 25, 2011 Gabby, that is an unfortunate part of this site's cleaning process; they eliminate some important information in the posts they clean up. Before I joined, there was a lot of explanation/discussion by the original set-up of this thread. There were not many dragons that were Gold color so they took the black and the white stripe to have some "golds". It was not to accept black or white as another color contingent. Posted September 25, 2011 Exactly as Grammydragon says, we needed to fill out the Gold Contingent. I included the Blacks as a nod towards Krewe Zulu, but ultimately they were for the Gold Contingent. We originally included Green Stripes in the Green Contingent. Since there are no CB Green Stripes, we had to, perforce, include White Stripes, and I reasoned that they fit anyway since their stripes were Gold. They were included in the Gold category.
